Best barrows?

Basic method tht requires little effort:

Slayer dart all brothers other than ahrim and Akrisae

Ahrim you want to range.

Akriases hope between range and melee depending on prayer.

Ideally you do dharok and karil first with prayer then just tank the rest. Do ahrim last.

For real quick runs you want branches of darkmeyer done for drakan's medallion to tele to burgh de rott and barrows (bank and do run) and home tabs to get out + grab prayer.

Failing tht the 500 total level reward from temple trekking gives games neckalce to burgh de rott (then run to barrows)

Failing that lvl 99 Zachory in burgh de rott ramble makes the tunnel behind canafis pub jump u str8 to mort'on which is used with canafis portal in house.

Failing tht just canafis portal and RUNNNNNNNN

I'd just use black sallies..

Though there are also other methods such as using ice spells to free the brothers in spot

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Best way to do Barrows: Storm of Armadyl, Armadyl battlestaff, arcane spirit shield, ragefire boots or steadfast boots, arcane stream necklace, barrows gloves, berserker ring (i), Ardougne cloak 3/4 or fire cape, helmet of Neitiznot, Ahrim's or Bandos (or both) top and legs.

What you do is simple. Mage all brothers (equip Ahrim's), use claw specials on Akrisae (equip Bandos) to circumvent his prayers and leftover spec on Karil. Overload, turmoil while clawing, maybe leech mage on Ahrim. Deflect curses on Karil/Dharok if you feel like it, ss flashing works as well.

Should be good for easy 4.5 minute runs with the medallion, maybe 4 minutes for 6 brothers (omit Torag).

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

Replace arcane with an obsidian shield, use dragon/infinity boots, Verac's skirt + Guthan's plate for tank gear, and you got yourself a setup for about 40m. With a staff of light and ice barrage you have a 10m max setup, but that's not nearly as good as Storm of Armadyl and will certainly require a melee switch for Ahrim and Karil, meaning you'll rapier + ks spec Akrisae as well.

With the new amulet staying power isn't important at all, it's much better to get faster kills and teleport a few times.

Yeah new amulet means you can do a run home tab > prayer (> amulet to Burgh de rott for bank/recharge) > amulet to barrows.

Brackets is the optional bit cause some methods you rarely need to bank and obv recharge is only once every 10 trips.

The fastest way would be to carry just prayers and overloads for 9 chests (or doesnt it use a charge when teleing to the surface?). Use amulet to tele back to the surface of barrows (saves time), and when one charge left, tele burg de rot, bank and tele to barrows.

Atm teleing from within barrows eats a charge, but its supposed to be a bug that they said they'd fix going by the game update faq of tht week.

Whatever equipment you choose, don't forget to have a RoW along for opening the chest. It'll improve the drops.

I am looking for the most efficient method to do barrows, and the requirements for it. Any info is appreciated.

Basic method tht requires little effort:

Slayer dart all brothers other than ahrim and Akrisae

?????????

Use enaids advice, both set-ups she posted will work wonders. I personally use the set-up worth that ~150 m, but it's worth it if you have it.

Main Account - Max cape achieved 10th September 2011
Noob Account - 2300 total and climbing

Honestly barrows isn't really worth doing with current prices. I'm pretty sure you'd make more money/hour on average doing something like killing green dragons.

Assuming you can beat the bots and be constantly killing them, which can be a hassle. You might be able to do it in the tunnels using hard hitting weps, but I'm not sure.

The nice thing about barrows is that they have no competition and no bots to affect your rate of kills.

The bots do, however, affect the prices. Drastically.

As they do with killing green dragons. I think he was talking more in terms of frustration than anything else. Could be wrong. :)

Yes basically. Not to mention that green drags are a lot more heavily botted since all you need are 50s in CB stats, and standard "noob gear" (granite plate, drag med, drag legs, drag scimmy/long) to do them. Barrows at least requires a few quests and the brothers are slightly more challenging. I don't know exactly how the bots work, but I'd think they get very few chests in per trip.
