Easiest way to do jad

I'm 91-91-91 92 HP 73 prayer 80 range 95 mage

 

Without being concerned with money, what is the easiest way to do the caves and jad? Should I use a polypore staff and gano or what would be the easiest? Thanks!

Well, killing Jad in gano with SOA/PPS is easy in that you only need to pray protect from range, so no need to worry about prayer switching which is nice if you are nervous or lag a lot. (it allowed my maxed friend to finally get her fcape.. she used 3 brew sips, just praying pro range)

I agree! Don't mean to hijack this post but I was wondering how much do the items cost/ and exactly what items are needed to kill Jad this way?

The cost of the equipment is about 5m for polypre, gano top and gano bottom, plus the cost of your usual mage gear. An Armadyl battlestaff is about 10m.

 

Rune-wise the cost is either 150k tops with polypore or up to 700k with Storm of Armadyl. Storm of Armadyl is a lot faster and easier (fast = less damage taken).

 

The degrade cost for gano is maybe 100k?

The degrade on Gano is very low. My maxed friend said her armor decayed 9.1% for the entire caves, which equates to roughly 300k in repair.

 

She was using Overloads and PPS.

Wow thanks for this had 4 jad tasks in the last week. 99prayer, 99herb 99str, 97 att, 88 range and I still fail him everytime. Ill have to try this. I can get to him in like 40mins but my fps is so low like 12 so its hard to pray switch, and I try to veng dclaw rush at half hp but I fail lol. Any1 know if armadyl staff can be lended if not maybe Ill have to cash in my slayer points.

I would take:

3 overloads. This is an hours worth of constant boost. You normally finish in 45-50 minutes with magic. If you somehow take longer just save 1 dose for jad, the others aren't important but speed things up a little.

Blood barrage runes (You don't have soulsplit so the extra healing will be very useful)

12 super restores. This is enough to do the full caves and have some spare for countering brews on jad.

EEE. Extra healing.

9 brews. You definatley won't need all these if you use EEE and blood barrages often. But they're a nice backup if jad hits you multiple times and you need to heal fast.

 

That's with PPS. With arma staff just replace 1 super restore with the arma runes (Because you'll do caves much faster and won't need the prayer)

 

If you're cheap, replace a brew with ahrims body. Use this until you get to jad. This will save you about 200k in charges.

 

You will probably use less, but take 1500 arma runes at least. Theres nothing worse (Or more awesome) than running out of runes and needing to kick jad to death.

 

@ Q, 700k in arma runes? That's 380 casts... Way overkill for just jad, nowhere near enough for the full caves.

700k in runes was 500 casts last I checked the price, which is enough for the caves :P. It only takes about 30-35 minutes, which is part waiting on spawns as well.
