spooferfish
The xp difference between 96 and 97 is 1,008,052. I still have 903,267 xp remaining to level 97. I'm still ~400k off of half way..so what the hell is this thing showing me? I have also been watching my range one jump around, and take huge jumps, then back off... WHAT IT DO?[spoiler=Hmmm...]I suppose this could go in Help and Advice board instead? It could be a discussion... I dunno...
Ellac
I'm gonna move this to H&A since it seems more appropriate there :) I noticed the same thing with mine, too. Thanks to Iglw for the amazing signature!

spooferfish
They glitch sometimes. I'm not a java, coding, or math expert, but doesn't that seem like kind of a simple thing to accomplish? :wall:
Kimberly
I dunno, sometimes it looks like they display the progress to your goal, and sometimes the progess to level.
Bad911
Their algorithm is messed up, it seems to find a different starting point of "xp" when you take too long of a break. It also seems to update rather slowly and in jumps, meaning it isn't very useful for gauging xp-over-time either. It might just round up by quarters, although I highly doubt it. The fact that you can't tell what it is just shows how useless it is. Just ignore it.
dire1
I think logging out and logging back in helps it sometimes.
Thus
This has always happened with every skill I leveled up in. It's a bug/error on Jagex's behalf.
spooferfish
I think logging out and logging back in helps it sometimes.Mine has been like this for a few days now...Slayer has at least. ranged seemed pretty accurate until it started taking huge jumps all over. *edit* It just went back to the depressing sliver of xp in the corner it should be, lol. SwreeTak
It is a very glitchy feature. Just do like me and turn it off (Can be done by right clicking the XP-button interface). Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
Cowman_133
Lol. I have noticed sometimes my XP meter starts at 0 and moves its way up to whatever point I am at. Other times it just adds to where it already is. I personally find it really cool and I won't be turning it off - but I wish it worked properly. One thing I do dislike about them though is the ingame skill guides are now a 'fullscreen event' meaning you can't see what's happening to your character while you're looking at it like the world map. Sycrov
Nearly all the time, I gain a level and it says I'm halfway to the next one. But once I actually get to halfway it updates normally. 99 cooking: 10/24/
Jeffery
I noticed this, I also noticed if you get a tonne of xp then little to nothing after a while it goes down. So my guess is it's a TTL bar kinda thing. Because I used 3 effigys on mining and it went to half way. 180th to 99 Divination + 1st W36er Rambo, cannot pk call your friends bro :). Wait nevermind none of SAPK/PKS can. Kappa.
