February 1, 201214 yr Bit more than 80% better. That's with the Armadyl battlestaff, right? Yeah. I automatically assume you're using an ABS, because I don't see the point of using the spell without the staff :P Anyway, to compare Storm of Armadyl against Fire Surge... Min hit of SoA at 106 Magic and a +30% damage boost is 227. Max hit is 478. An average hit of 352 or 146,66 DPS at an attack speed of 2.4 ticks per attack. Max hit of Fire Surge at 106 Magic and a 35% damage boost is 457. An average hit of 228,5 which is 76,16 DPS at an attack speed of 3 ticks per attack.

February 1, 201214 yr Storm of Armadyl is about as expensive as fire surge with chaotic staff (per damage) I think, unless the runes are way over 2k again. Never really a reason to surge when you can storm. Polypore is more relevant.
