Kimberly
How do they work? I originally obtained SC tools to halve the cost of construction training but I'm wondering how they work during the BXPW periodl

Aslan
If I remember correctly any form of xp boost doesn't work during BXPW.
Sy_Accursed
During bxpw absolutely NO bonus xp items work, this includes sc tools. If you do use them, they will not drain of charge and will not produce any form of boost at all. The same applies to brawlers, BA Horn, Hati paws, skoll boots etc. etc. etc. Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Kimberly
So don't bother with them...okay. That will save time. I guess my second question is it better to train during BXPW until my boost drops below 2.0x or wait?

Quyneax
Both xp rates and plank prices will go up, you'd have to do con while it is lower gp/xp than normal. E.g. at 1.6x price, do con until 1.7x modifier. After that, 'free' skills are better, because you're no longer saving money. The amount of time saved is equal. Kimberly
I've already got the planks for my goal assuming clay hammers. I was asking strictly in terms of sc tools, but thanks for the advice anyway.

Sy_Accursed
That is a shame that they don't stack :( The real shame is the idiots who sink millions into doing prayer on BXPW only to realise after they used all the bones that ALL bonus xp items are disabled and this includes the 4* bonus from ectofunctus and the 3.5* from gilded altar with burners, so even at the very start of BXPW you get less xp:bone than you do normally. MudRune
^ That's only a shame if you don't enjoy reading about it after the fact. Reading about it then reading the following arguments are the best part of bxpwThey announce it every time though, and we've already had a few of them. Surely there aren't that many people who still do it.
