Fireworks are not oil powered :thumbsup:Yes, but going boom is not the reason the internal combustion engine exists. If I recall correctly, we're actually trying to get away from using it because of the resulting pollutants and the limited supply of oil. And fireworks aren't oil powered, but what's to say you couldn't put oil in a firework as one of the things that makes the explosion in the sky? Raw oil doesn't even explode, it just burns, the kind of fireworks that comes closest to is the kind where the gunpowder is mixed with the colouring to make it rain sparks. Leiana Posted July 29, 2011 Share Posted July 29, 2011 What I've learned over the past 7 months 1) A lot of people here have a kind heart, but I am not one of them2) Although I annoyed people, they still atleast took note of my existance3) I met a really good author here, and I was hoping to follow their example4) I've looked up to alot of people here, including someone who I once thought was older than me (in other words, the same guy who showed me this website, Nex)5) Alot of people here are pretty good at GMing, but not me.6) In the end, I was glad to have spent my time here, until just recently.7) As much as I hated the fact it was always my door that gets broken in the Space games, it was funny.8) I made a very big mistake here, and I blame none other but myself and Mather9) It was nice knowing you all, that includes Resistance and Dusty.10) I'm sorry, but I don't deserve to live. There is pretty much nothing that can take incendiary anti materiel rounds to the head. The varmint rifle is surprisingly good in the early part of the game, but as soon as you can get one, I'd advise getting a trail carbine or a service rifle. The_Mather1 Posted July 29, 2011 Share Posted July 29, 2011 Energy weapons are also good, there are few targets that can take more than one hit from the gauss rifle to any part of the body. Also the awesomeness of seeing a corpse fly. Also note that the gauss rifle does splash damage. And it is one of the weapons for which procuring the special version is easy... as long as you don't have the wild wasteland perc. There's also the tesla gun and it's special the tesla-beaton gun, they drain batteries like hell but you can take out a horde of enemies with a single shot. Personally I prefer to just use tgm and tank with the 12mm smg or the weathered 10mm pistol, though when I want to take enemies quickly I always switch to the gauss rifle.
