First off, is it worth doing this at all, I have a vigour ring already.

what is the fastest way to get the 300 rank, is there a world/friend chat to use.

Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod!

It's worth it if you intend to do ffa bossing or Nexing, if you want max gear etc. If you win often, play quickly, need to train melees 70-99 & have some bank skill to do for when you reached the rank cap, it takes about 15 hours extra to get the rings. 25 hours of MA if you don't count any time saved.

Ofc it's worth it, only 25 hours for the best rings in the game.

Fastest way is suiciding. Take 10 light squads (any race), get 5 cannons, make them attack the wall and cannon yourself to death when it hits 26mins. Don't go out of your way to win any fights because 90% of the time it's a waste of time. A tip the videos/guides don't tell you: make one of your squads attack a different wall than yours. This is safeguard against heavy armoured a-holes who troll suiciders by cannoning your troops to death before 26mins.

It is worth it to try winning some games, get a heavy squad of each kind. If any of your opponents has loaded up on heavy squads, just suicide or send your heavy squads to attack theirs (so that they can kill your heavy squads faster allowing you to suicide your light). Once you reach the maximum ranks gained, just start doing a bank skill to pass the time till the limit is lifted. Try to keep track of time and ranks earned so don't waste your time playing a game which wont get you a rank.

When I saw someone like this, I would try to kill them before the time ran up. If you aren't suiciding, then don't play the game!

Working on max and completionist capes.

This. There are a lot of heavy armoured a-holes in mobilising armies now. When I did 200-300 rank two weeks ago (never again!) there was usually 1-2 heavy noobs per game

Don't get a heavy squad of each kind, wouldn't that mean you'd have to resupply-all if they die? Anyways they all attack with melee and there isn't much noticeable benefit to following the combat triangle.

If you want rings, just suicide and invest max credits each time. You get like 75% of your investment back even for losing and it takes less time to get 2 ranks suiciding then it does duking it out with some [wagon].
