dylantheskater
I've been wondering this for awhile.. I was playing around on my f2p noob with 1 agility, and I found a group of level 100+ pkers. I decided to tag along and kill people my level... So we are going north, all 100% energy, I have about 20kg energery and they have like full rune, full lobs, etc so Im guessing they had about 45+. So we are all roaming by greaters, and we see a few guys. We all run after them and kill at about the mine (Not me, too weak). I come running after gasping for air "How much *pant* energy do you have *Pant*?" They all start naming 75, 80, all those high percentages. Im at 0%. So Agility affects your F2P energy? scougre
from runescape:As well as allowing you to get through various obstacles, agility is also used to recover energy after running. The higher the level of agility you have, the faster you will notice your energy after running refilling back to normal, letting you run further more quickly. Players with very high levels of agility will find that they can move quickly around the world of RuneScape and that they recover their run energy very quickly. Jagex has been asked this tonnes of times and alwasy gives the same responce. And as for ur running thing yes you could: At 10 agility I could run from cw to west ardy doors At 56 aglity I could run same distances at 75 aglity I can still run no further Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

jessy87
i can run a little further, and i believe people with 99 agility noted, the biggest difference are from 1 to 30 agility, from 60 - 99 its not a "big" difference, i dont know how these people define big but whatever. i my self never tested it at lower lvls, i went from 1-25 at gnone place in a day from 25-35 another day. honestly, i dont think you gain energy AS you run, but simply with higher agility, you lose less of it as you run. anarchyman
next time u run watch your energy closely, u do gain it while u run, it may not be noticable becasue u are running and all u see are the decreases but at some points u will see that ur energy stays on a certain percentage longer than others and that was the recharge u got and that would be the reason people say u can run longer, which is true but they just never seemed to notice the reason why u could. Dont believe me? Then make a noob accoutn and run from lumby to draynor or varock, then go on ur main and run to the same place u ran to carrying the same weight as your noob and you will notice a big difference depending on your agility level
lazy_k
It says you "run further more quickly" because your energy fills up more quickly the higher agility you got, which means after you've ran out of energy and begin walking you refill faster and can therefore run for a longer distance than someone with lower agility than you. Example: If I have 61 agility and my friend 1, we will both run until we're 0% energy and then walk for 40 secs. I will now have 10% and he 5% when we begin to run again so I get to wherever we're running to faster. Probably made no sence.

But they're right. If you run till your energy's done, then wait until it's fun and run again, you'll get there faster with more agility (over a long distance). You don't have to do anything other than run and stand still. bflat0
Last night... well wee hours of the morn - I helped a friend do the digsite quest. Just running from Varrock and back and forth from the site to the exam place with her following. She does not have high agility - in around 50 - and was actually carrying way less weight than I - was nice enought to be her pack mule;-). Now not that I'm much higher - only 70 agility - but in constant runs she would run out of energy a lot quicker than I would... fact is when she was at 0% I was still way over 50% most the time. Nazgul740
agility makes no difference to how far you can run or how long energy lasts. Agility effects energy recharge time um that equals almost the same thing cause you can run father and therefor longer time and it does effect (FROM WHAT I HAVE NOTICED) how fast the energy goes down too New sigzor^^
exdeath
Agility opens shortcuts, new areas, and makes recharge time go faster. It doesn't make energy go down slower, that's not what agility is supposed to do either. It would be nice if it made you run faster, but I can safely say that it doesen't do that either. I've never seen energy recharge while I'm running. If you're in run mode and stopped then it will recharge, but not when you're actually running. It wouldn't make any sense for you to recover energy while your pumping those muscles lugging all those items around. Offering 91 and 93 herblore assists. PM me in game.
