Ahrims top/ mage void with deflector, staff of light, infinity boots, barrows/ spellcaster gloves, arcane stream necklace or Fury, and a polypore staff switch for Glacytes, use a wolpertinger familier to keep you mage above 95 (Use scroll at start, and after you kill Glacytes, should keep it at about the max you can get to!

Follow any other guide for tactics, best thing to do is watch someone else killing them.

Best non-gano mage gear you have (NOT VOID), surgebox if you have it, arcane stream if you have it, armadyl battlestaff, overloads and pray renews

Fire spell on glacor until minis

Iron Titan specs on sapping (Switching to steel titan once you hit 99 summoning), storm of arma on enduring, storm of arma on unstable

More fire spells on glacor

Flash soul split as needed to heal and EEE or DDP++ for spec weapon

You make it sound like running through a few level 87 monsters is hard which it really shouldn't be at your level.

At your magic level, melee is probably better than Storm of Armadyl for the glacytes. At 99 magic you'll average 225 base damage per cast (overloaded), at 91 you will average 185, which is some 18% less. SoA would be under 20% better than whip (assuming no fire cape, imbued, void - using void it'd be under 10% better roughly) and 5% worse than the best-case melee (void deflector, goliaths, imbued). The cost of SoA means it's not worth it before 99 magic and even then it's very close.

ok I read the guide, I am using void mage equip with torag top bottom and whip for the glycites, but as soon as the glycites attack I die within a few seconds, I am hitting the enduring with one fire surge to get him to attack me, but not sure why the others are killing me, what prayer do I protect from or what else am I doing wrong. I am using unicorn and EEE and I only managed one kill before having to tele as I almost died, and that was my third attempt. Glacor's should be fairly easy for me according to the guide, but those glycite things destroy me.... I have everything except chaotics, I have turm, SS, SOL, and extreme mage pots.

Most obvious problems are the unstable glacyte, the ranged spike attack and the glacor switching attack styles.

The red glacyte explodes as the bar overhead goes entirely green. This is good (saves you from killing most of it) but you must step back or you will lose half your health.

The glacor sometimes fires a triple spike attack that halves your health if it is on your square when it lands.

The glacor will switch attack styles at times, so keep watching it to make sure you are using the right prayer. You should pray versus the glacor, not the glacytes.

You should not use Torag's and void at the same time, either melee and mage in void, or mage in robes and melee in Torag's.

I was only using torags which the glacytes were attacking, I used ahrims or void for the glacor, but I cant worry about the glacyte attacking and the glacor at the same time, if I worry about one the other one is killing me....

I need one prayer that covers at a time, prayer swtiching is basically not an option, I dont know how to do it and have tried to learn, but it doesnt work for me, this is why I never did TD's, I dont know when to prayer switch and to what prayer.

I watch the Glacor for his triple ice attack and avoid that but something is still killing me very fast. I am fine with the glacor, it is when those 3 start attacking and the glacor, I cant worry about 4 different attacks at the same time.

If you don't want to prayer switch you need to use tank gear, mage in Bandos, pray protect from magic. It's suboptimal but possible.

Ok did slightly better 4th time, they prayer I am almost geting, the ball is mage and the icicle is range, but still only got 2 1/2 kills before ROL saved me, I tried SS flashing, but it didnt work, I never know when to use which one....

And the glacyte still killed me cause I had to worry about them attacking while the glacor was.

ok, so someone there was trying to help me and he said no mage gear, just use torags, and that helps slightly, but still only getting 2-3 kills per trip, and this time I used iron titan, but he almost never helps, he just gets stuck behind a rock.

ok now I am up to about 5 kills per trip, I was getting killed by the one that explodes, so now I kill that one first, I am still taking too much damage from the glacor while using SS while he attacks range....but I am using torags, I have a buy in GE for Bandos, but it hasnt bought yet. Any other tips?

always kill unstable last

when his bar reaches full, step away and you won't be damaged

make sure you ss flick, protection prayer only needs to be on when his attack hits you

Glacors attacks in regards to protection prayers are different to other monsters in that the damage is calculated when the attack gets to you instead of when it is fired. This means you only need protection on then as opposed to other monsters where you need it at the start. Note that the mage attack can still hit throigh your prayer but it will only hit 20 or so damage as opposed to the 200 if you weren't praying.

The glacor seems to be more likely to switch styles after the triple spike attack so pay particular attention to what it does after that.

The range prayer seems to be more accurate (assuming you're in ahrims which has better magic defence) so if you're unsure I'd default to range prayer.

You can get in a free soul split at the beginning of each glacor as it won't be attacking you yet.

The last glacyte you kill transfers some of its abilitites to the glacor. This means you want to kill the umstable last as if you leave the enduring the damage you do for the second stage of the glacor will be reduced. If you leave the sapping each attack from the glacor will drain prayer points (this can be partially counteracted by leaving your prayer low). If you kill the unstable last the glacor will explode when the bar above its head is full, this will speed up killing it. If you take too long however it will begin to heal to half health again and explode, you need some poor gear or bad luck for that to be a factor though. On the whole, leaving the unstable to last is best, if you accidentally kill it though leave the sapping as last.

If you get a large rock between you and the glacor, you won't have to worry about its attacks when the glacytes are out.

As the size of an explosion increases, the number of social situations it is incapabale of solving approaches zero.

Ensure you are not a social situation.
