1) Cersei Lannister (A Song of Ice and Fire): Singlehandedly runs her country into the ground based on paranoia that only has merit because she actively worked to alienate all of the people on her side. Unlikeable as hell, but then, that's the point.

2) Brian Griffin (Family Guy): I'll just start by saying that I can't stand Family Guy, and that Brian exemplifies most of the reasons for that loathing. When he's not a full-blown marty-stu he's the writer's soap box.

3) Anders (Dragon Age series): Before the end of the game he's the equivalent of that college kid that won't shut up about his political opinions. His character development turns him into a full-blown terrorist, and then he causes a world war.

4) Scout (Team Fortress 2): In the rare times where I play this game, I'm a pyro, demoman, or medic. None of those are particularly good against scouts.

5) Daenerys Targaryen (A Song of Ice and Fire): Put an unlikeable and most likely insane character in the middle of a continent where nothing interesting happens, then put her in charge of trying to completely rewrite their culture.
