January 30, 200620 yr there was a bug in the party hall in RS BETA, if u put stuff there, rather than confirming u want to drop it you could right click and press withdraw 1,5,10 or X, so many people put like drag meds, sqs phats and more, it was good becuase every body got the chance to use every thing, offcourse they reset every thing back to normal so my 20 free party hat sets were lost :P Mod Edit: Replaced the title of 'lol' with something more relevant to the post Brnz--4rr0wz94 Magic, 61 Combat :D GF

Back then their was a dupe bug, he duped 20 Party Hat Sets from it and they were deleted after the Beta was finished.

They did it before Beta was finished. I remember, less than a week after the bug was fixed within like a day- Jagex transfered RS(RSC) items to RS2(RS) just to let all the players use ther items from the main game to play on Beta. -Then Beta was over in a few weeks. Correct me if I'm wrong though...

January 30, 200620 yr Impossible you Have even 1 set. There was only one guy with a Yellow hat in beta. There was tons of dmeds, no spuares, and everyone was duping drag axes . high alch for like 180k , was good money. :twisted:
January 30, 200620 yr Nobody had a set in beta, there was one yellow and one red originally. One was a gift from a mod, the other was pked off of a mod (in beta). This came before we were able to test the beta with our real items. We could only go off of stuff that we found lying around or made ourselves. The chest dupe started with some people that were lucky enough to have come across a dmed or a similar weapon. I wore my first dmed then. Also had about 90 half keys and a bazillion glories. so there's this thread in p2p general called "the most annoying things ppl do on runescape" i am tempted to post "ya wen im cybering with a girl and they log off for no reason"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we didn't even have access to Seer's until AFTER Jagex copied out RS bank into RS2 Beta...? Even then, I don't think they'd put in Party PEte's place by that time...

Even then, I don't think they'd put in Party PEte's place by that time... 1) he's a drunk hypocrite maybe. just an idea. 2) Yes, there was at least a few days inbetween the discovery of the seer's party hall bug and when they fixed it. god those days were heaven, fastest way for cash was to dupe cannon parts and alc em. and since noone cared about their armor (as it's all duped) there was some fun wildy stuff going on.. when you could actually mage while wearing rune before they decreased the magic bonus further, that was fun. and everyone was doing it, so what was jagex going to do, ban every single member from RS2 beta? anyways, like others said, there was never any phat set in beta.. they only came from mods (i only heard of the red one, which the person that had it was careful to not give away to too many people) and the original poster failed horribly in pretending to have played then :? and that wasn't the only bug.. some of the bugs were hilarious to exploit.. some were just in the NPCs.. eg sheep could attack you, while you couldn't attack back.. the tip.it KBD trips were alot of fun too.. thank god they're bringing them back :D

January 31, 200620 yr Not bragging, but i believe i was the first to come across a dmed, off a black demon in taverly dungeon, lilyuffie asked what i got it from and she trained there for like 3 days and got one also, was kinda fun, everyone thought i was a mod and what not. I dropped the med by fally bank like 3 days before the dupe. like 10 people already had them. i was going back to rsc. had to start rs2 from scratch :x I remeber the guy with the red phat also, he said he duped 8 of em for his friends. but wouldnt drop any :?
