He never mentioned lag, he said that when Jagex "fixed" the fps problems, he started having fps problems of his own.

I managed to avoid getting kicked, but ended up diving at the very end of leaving the floor. Pretty angry... June 25, 201214 yr Happened to me today as well, got kicked off servers a few times from my clan's citadel and also had major lag at w67, along with my DG teams (On one of them the host dc'd over and over lol)
June 26, 201214 yr I generally don't experience lag on Runescape, but I've been having a lot of problems with my FPS ever since the Diamond Jubilee update.I used to get 50+ FPS (and still do), just now, at random times (and random camera angles) my FPS drops to 1-5, and jumps back to 50+ if I jerk my camera around a bit.No clue what's causing it but it sure is pissing me off! -RuneKrew-http://www.youtube.com/RuneKrewCommentary Runescape Videos
