Ok guys, wtf is wrong with people, lol. 50k off 99 ranged, 2 [bleep] just log in, come at my space and steal my spot. One said "200m mage man", like I give a flying [bleep] if u r close to 200m mage or going for 200m mage , so I said "And that allows you to steal spots?", then he said "That allows you to stfu". I facepalmed irl, couldn't udnerstand how retarded some people can be, and then I simply hopped.

You are not the only person who desires to train Range at Ape Atoll. There a limited number of worlds with a limited number of decent spots to chin or ice burst/barrage at. There are what, 125 member worlds* between the live game, foreign language, and beta worlds, and there are about 3 to 4 chinning spots. Between the 120,000 active players in the game at any current time, you are getting mad because someone has to come join you at one of the possible 375 to 500 chinning spots between every game world? Even if only 0.5%** of the active player count wanted to chin, that is still 600 people. That means 100 to 125 people will either have to hop or crash. This is a MMO, not a single player game. When only ONE person joins you, it doesn't hurt nor help our experience rates as they help to spawn additional skeletons to make up for the speed you two kill the existing skeletons. If it bothers you that much, maybe you need to stop playing or stop getting so mad over trivial things.

It's quite easy to make them go away. Just run around and lure the skeletons all over the place. Most of them will leave right away when they see what you're doing, but others are a bit stubborn, but will leave eventually. I did this all the time when I was getting 200m, because I don't share spots.

 

It's generally faster than hopping and searching for a free world as well.

That probably didn't help the situation at all. If you would've more polite and had explained the situation, I'm sure they would've been more understanding. I would have left, but as soon as you said that I would've stayed and done the same thing that they did. If you act rude to people right off the bat, that changes the outcome of the situation. And 50k would be easy enough to make up somewhere else.

the worst is ape trolls...... when you just want to get xp and someone has a full inventory of food/brews/antiposion and they take off gree-gree and run by each spot.....

Two people at the same spot honestly doesn't lower the exp/hr there. Sometimes I found myself getting more experience per hour while sharing a spot as opposed to having a spot to myself.

I completely agree with you. Everyone is probably spamming them evermore heavily now that the beta is soon to come since you get demolished by the Skeleton Monkeys when wearing ranging armor in the beta, but the place has honestly been overcrowded for quite some time now, not un-similar to rocklobsters.

Obviously it wasn't your spot at all. It was no one's "spot". It was whoever was willing to fight for it.

 

 

Of course it was my spot. Nobody was there in that spot when I went there, and I xp'ed there.

If it was your personal spot no one else would have been able to use it. Therefore, it wasn't your spot.

Even though I, or this hypothetical guy doesn't legally owns the spot, it doen't allow other people to steal that spot. Get it?

The comparison is inadequate. The thing in question, the park bench, isn't desirable enough to warrant competition. Try instead a situation where two people can earn say, a free cruise, if they're the last man standing.

Two last man standing? The cruise belongs to the guy who has been lining up for it the first. And in this case, I was lining up for +1 hour.

You easily get the same xp or even better when sharing spots. No reason to hop.

I don't want to hang out with people who put their nose everywhere as if they owned every place.
