Range/Summoning Help

Hello

 

My last two combat skills I need to max are range and summoning which I haven't trained since eoc release.

 

Ideally I would like to collect charms while training range.

 

 

Range - 85

Summ - 88 (Already have charms for 90/91)

I have a charming Imp and can afford high tier range equipment

 

 

Am I right in assuming waterfiends are still best even after their recent buff for charms and reasonable range experience?

As far as I know they are still god for charms and range exp. I personally haven't been since I still haven't go them as a task but i talked with others and they say they aren't quite such what the buff did because they don't notice a change.

Waterfiends sounds good then, I'll probably mix it up sometimes and do some glacors for charms with mage as I have shards sitting in the bank, Might as well complete another staff of armadyl.

You can cannon waterfiends in Ghorrock, apparently that's worth it.

Chinning abyssal creatures or dagannoth with a cannon are both great charms as well as great range exp (300k+ for both). Waterfiends will give slight profit but I believe at least dags are better for charms overall.

Interesting, Although i heard the charm rate is fairly lower at that location?

 

Chinning abyssal creatures or dagannoth with a cannon are both great charms as well as great range exp (300k+ for both). Waterfiends will give slight profit but I believe at least dags are better for charms overall.

 

Do dags drop majority crim and blue though? Can't be bothered with the hassle of many gold/green lol

No. Ghorrock waterfiends drop 2 charms per kill, so the rate is the same afaik.

It's close to 400 crimson charms per hour last i checked. That with probably 5-10 blues. And your charming imp should eat the golds and greens for some extra exp anyways.

ok so wat woould the setup be then? for armour and stuff

 

Max damage output range gear, red chins (I think you can use offhand with them as well).

 

charming imp plus ovls, prayer renewals, super restores I presume.
