I currently have:warrior (i), seer (i), archer (i) and about ten million gp to use.

You are completely broke, since by selling all the other stuff you mentioned will not even get you to 20m, which is roughly what a proper power armor set (subj/arma/bandos) costs.

I suggest you restart the gp duping machine MtK immediately and you should do ALL gp producing dailies, because currently, you are worse than poor. Before you get a nex set & T9 weapons, you can forget about making money through bossing; when you save up enough for a gwd power set, you should be able to do some weak (and not as profitable) bosses, such as glacors, gwd & qbd, which should take care of your money problems for the time.

By the way, as Q suggested, you should focus on ports. After a month or a few, you will have PoP armor, which should by then suffice for tanking normal bosses, like nex or kk.

Excuse me for hijacking this thread, but I am in a similar state as the OP (just returned, altough I have around 120m bank). What are those gp producing dailies? :)

These are all the dailies I do. I have done all the hard task done except for the Desert Achievement Diary. The cost is next to each other. I do the Phoenix lair more so because I want the a Phoenix egg (or two :D) but I haven't tried selling the quills but last I checked they sold for 3k. Also, the wicked hood only give pure essences if you feed it an Omni-Talisman once.

Gonna start working on drygores now. Which one should I get? Maces look like the best choice with the prayer bonus and fastest autoattack. Are they all about the same versus monsters or will monster weaknesses matter? Melee slayer and bosses being my biggest concerns.

I believe they are all marginally equal, longsword's are supposedly like a tenth of a percent better at certain places. I'd recommend buying the cheaper ones and focus on getting offensive gear to accompany the drygore's for maximum efficiency.

I've never understood why maces are the cheapest, yet offer a prayer bonus (while the others do not). Is it because people perceive them as weaker, due to their fastest speed (as opposed to fast), or because they are actually lower DPS (maybe only against bosses where accuracy matters more? IIRC Maces have lower accuracy?)?

Maces are super ugly, that's for one. Also there appears to be some kind of small advantage to 'fast' weapons but you'll want to ask Chenw about that.

Maces are no longer the cheapest (in fact the main hand is the most expensive part atm, or at least last time I checked), but the Off hand is still the cheapest out of the 3.

It used to be Maces were cheapest because of the 'apparent' damage on Long/Rapier being higher than Drygore maces that got them their initial prices, but the word is spreading that DPS is what matters for Abilities, not actual damage per hit.

And to answer Q's question, before the critical strike update, all ability critical strikes always hit its maximum possible hit, and so was useful in determining what actually went on behind the scenes to calculate ability damage. Long story short (no pun intended), here were my conclusions:

1. The slower the weapon's speed, the higher damage it did with abilities, but the difference was minute (~1% difference between Fastest and Average speed, with Fast somewhere in between)

2. Any equipment that adds damage (GWD, Nex, etc) had greater benefit on Fast weapons than Fastest or Average (the latter two having the same effect), but the ranking of the 3 speeds remain the same, though fast was really close Average when there was only +23 damage.

Basically, there seems to be a rather small DPS difference between Fastest and Fast, whether that is still true or not now is very hard to tell, since ability criticals now have a range of possible hits rather than just 1.

But for most intents and purposes, the difference between Long and Rapier is purely cosmetic, and the difference between those and Mace is basically <1% extra damage VS +9 prayer bonus.

I got a pair of maces. I also have chaotic staff, royal xbow, and gwd armor. That's adequate gear I assume. Time to finish slayer. Can I just melee everything now with drygores? Or does taking advantage of weaknesses speed things up? I was reading something about barraging everything with momentum, but I read that has been nerfed.

I have a regular cannon, demonhorn necklace, bonecrusher, and charming imp as well.

You can melee everything with drygores, barrage is only good for one or two tasks now afaik, abyssals and idk.

I am working on the desert tasks and then morytania. How long does dominion tower and temple trekking take to completion? It looks like completion is the goal for the elite tasks. I've killed 120 bosses in the tower, completed all the special challenges, and zenevivia is the only boss I haven't fought yet. I haven't started temple trekking since it was updated.

Will pernix keep dropping or go back to previous prices? Now looks like a good time to get it. Should i get the glacor boots? All of them or just one pair? I read something about boots not effecting accuracy. Or should I just stick to the t70 gwd boots for now?

Say, 5-10 hours for the tower (starting at nothing) and about 20-30 for Trekking (again, starting at nothing).

I don't know about Pernix, but about glacor boots: if you're not going to tank, just go for GWD boots or Nex boots. If you're going to tank, use the boots you need to tank a particular style. If you're going to tank ranged, get melee boots and so on.

I have the blood tab task left, but great orb project looks dead. Are there any active channels that I can use? Nevermind, I was able to join a game soon after I typed this.

I'm fighting qbd at the moment. I am getting 2-3 minute kills, but I feel like I am eating too much. I am using adrenaline potions after i use berserk to get out an assault quicker. Am I using it wrong? And am I suppose to use anticipation at the end of the fight to keep adrenaline for the next fight?

Also, how long would livid farm take from the beginning? What do I need to bring? Is it fun?
