Love to play games other then Runescape? Maybe some First-Person-Shooters or even RPG's? Have you got a special computer for this? If you do post so here! List the "Spec's" on it. If you dont have the computer you want, list the "Spec's" you DO want! Try and use realistic parts, not a "Pentium 127" or anything like that!

Jesus christ Anes! How much you got spent into all that?

No idea, it's all over a relatively long time so prices I paid won't be a reflection of the actual value. It's certainly not that special - hardly top of the range, its just 'good enough' for me to do what I want.

A friend of mine has an A64 4000+, 1GB DDR400 and dual 7800GTX's in SLI. Some would argue he has more money than sense. And that's just his main machine... He's also got a ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1600 vaio laptop (13" or so), a ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1500 hifi, a midrange shuttle XPC and a ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã3000 downhill bike. Oh inheritances...

Nvida GeForce 6600GT

1GB Ram

Sound Blaster Audigy 2

Heres mine. Its not great, but it does what I need it to. The processor will probably be upgraded, since that is the weakest part. Other than the OS, but I dont feel like doing anything about that.

2.66ghz Celeron

768MB RAM

Ati Raedon 9250 256MB Pci Graphics Card (no agp, so thats why pci)

Some Intel mobo

Sound Blaster Audilogy Sound Card

CD-RW/DVD drive

2x 80GB hard drives

15 inch ViewSonic LCD (got it when lcds were still uncommon, it was cool at the time)

Thats about it. Since I dont need anything better, I have no reason to upgrade it.

You could probably upgrade your graphics card, since I think there are PCI 9600's

I couldnt find one on ATI's site. But what I have now works just fine for me, so I see no real reason to upgrade.

I've seen intels blow the hell out of some Athlon's .. Visa Versa all depends on the setup, and your inteded use..

Personally I'd never run SMP on anything other than Intel. or perhaps Sparc

I knight thee Intel fanboy.

Cmon, dont be such a fool, intel and amd outperform each other in certain areas. Hell, ive considered getting a dual core pentium just because they are cheaper in australia than an AMD X2 chip.

Dont go saying things like that unless you can provide anything more than an uninformed fanboy comment like that.
