Leesters Posted February 21, 2006 Share Posted February 21, 2006 This bug is history. First hand tested by me and a bunch of tip it crazies. Hehe. I was attacked by at least 13 ppl, as a non tip it clan came in and tried to kill me. I retaliated against all attackers. So, the bug is at least 13 attackers deep. I don't think anyone will have a situation where they autoretaliate more than 13 people. Thanks for all the bug reports, folks. I really think it helped. And now you can 3 item to your hearts content. I was happy, so I went to the new monster. Not a soul around, and I learned that trying to solo the Choas Elemental while having lag is a very confusing way to die. lol I got tele'd so much I was dizzy, and that bugger stripped me of my entire equipped items multiple times. Did you know that Whip, glory ammy, and ring of wealth keeps over black dragon hide? Its fact. lol. Enjoy the new update, and if I hear any whining from pkers, expect major flamage. :P _______________________________________________________ EDIT! See page 8 of this thread. I'll be home at 7pm tonight, and I WILL be out there teasing clans with auto retaliation on, and give this "fix" a good test. And I'm sure, for those of you who care, you would like to do the same. Post results here! _________________________ Auto Skull Glitch. Some of you have heard of it. For those of you who haven't, and you go to the wild thinking you are gonna keep your three items, I hope you read this first. There is a bug, thats been around for a long time now. If you are attacked in multi-area wild by a group of pkers, and you have auto retaliate on, you will gain a skull and lose everything. No, you don't have to attack anyone. It will "auto skull" you, and you're in trouble. The fix to this is as follows: 1) Turn off auto retaliate before going into a multi attack wildy area. 2) Swarm Jagex's mailbox with bug reports so they MUST fix it. I have made a bug report, pm'd every player mod on my list, and flooded the official forums with my plea for bug reports. This is a horrible bug, and I'm appalled that they have ignored it, especially with this update coming. Please take the time to make a bug report begging for a fix. You should read all of the ppl that have lost multi million dollar items to this bug. Be careful out there. I lost my whip. This is the most upset I've ever been at this game. When I lost the dragon chain, it was my own stupidity. This was Jagex's fault. And I'm on a mission. Please help me out and send in the bug reports! Thanks! A circus in Runescape?? Oh my. I think it wasnt an accident, they want it to be that if you atake people in wildy, u get scull, wether u started it or not. What rules am I breaking with this post? The post you copied is from the Pkers forum, which was the wrong place for it. Most definately should have been a Rant. *sigh* Now, this is going to be a flame war, and will probably get this topic locked, when all I'm trying to do is warn people of a very dangerous bug. Ever since RS2, pkers have got the short end of the stick. Now they have a monsters they can gaurd with their clans, and it can be the center of wars and such. Myself, i despise pkers, but I respect them. I'm always impressed when they manage to kill me running into lvl 4 wilderness with +110 magic defense on.... always taking one of my 30 glory amulets! Damn you ice barrage! I think they spend more money hitting me wtih spells than they get back looting my dead remains. PKing is a hard job.... its hard to be cost efficent. The choas elemental has nothing to do with it. Its just a bug with multi pking, thats all. Yes, the choas elemental WILL unequip your items, and if you're inventory is full, POOF. lol. Nice trick, that. I was sitting there kicking it, going, huh?? The thing is that the pking bug has been around a long time, and yes, I'm sure they know about it, but they never fixed it. Thats the part that "bugs" me. *chuckles* So, I figured that people sending in more bug reports will make them put in higher on the priority list. Clan_Chat_Op Posted February 21, 2006 Share Posted February 21, 2006 Actually... now that you mention it... i remember getting skulled before... about 1 year ago? but i think it was something to do with auto retaliate... like... they used confuse magic spell... and that didn't give them a skull..... and so when i auto retaliated... i got the skull. When abyss came out... i lost full rune cause some magic user could attack me in there... and i couldn't attack back. lol. pkers love new updates! whips are only 2.5 mil (saw a couple going this low). apparently the prices are crashing. do a few barrows trips... you can have that back in a day or two. Its the noobs like me that never go in the wild that are the ignorant ones. I'd rather save a noob, than risk informing a pker. If they wanna abuse a bug, thats fine.
