February 21, 200620 yr v for vendetta, been waiting for this one ever since i heard about it around 6 months ago. was supposed to be out in late november of last year, but production was delayed because of london bombings.

Flags of our Fathers-Looks VERY promising Miami Vice-How could you go wrong with the director of Collateral re-doing his own TV series with a new Miami flavor... I'll have to wait til later in the year to start getting more info on the movie coming in between October-December...

It's not that badly casted, I think. Okay, they used the standard and most well known french actors that have the same Hollywood status as their collegues, but atleast they chose French actors. Tom Hanks wasn't really casted anyway, he bought the rights to the book because he wanted to play Langdon, if I'm correct [edit] I am not correct, I was had wrong information[/edit]. As far as I'm concerend the only 'risk' factor amongst the actors would be Bettany as Silas, but he's proven to be a pretty decent actor in the past, and this is a role we've never seen him do before, so we'll give him a chance. I'm more worried about Howard directing the movie, as he is a typical American director that tries to avoid controversy as much as possible, which is pretty hard with a more 'controversial' book. I can tell that orange blanket is from a certain shop that has only sold 4 of them in the UK. And when I find out which the people are who have em I'll track you down :twisted: All right, so far for my criticism on the no-room-pics. The movie I really want to see this year? Hmmm, that'll have to be both MIP III and especially Gladiator II, let's hope it's not a horrible remake of the first and let's also hope it's a little less hollywood. If you keep in mind it's fiction, then it's a good enough book. Even though the entire plot was plagerism based off of the nonfiction book The Holy Blood and The Holy Grail (which is mentioned IN the da vinci code) And Sir Leigh Teabing's name is just an anagram of the surnames of the authors of the Holy Blood. (One has last name Leigh and hte other's is an anagram of Teabing)
