How to stop autoers thread on official forums

Someone on the official forums posted a nice idea about stopping autoers on the official forums. They have 2 ideas that I think might work. One idea is a random that tries to trick macro pragrams into not realizing there is a random, buy using something like "chop yew" command in the random event. Another one uses part of the old fatigue system. Instead of having to click objects, It could use the typing box that the beds used to use, wich would be harder for macros to detect the the correct word that is to be typed. Anyone who wishes to support this idea, use the thread finder to find "how to really catch autoers" on the official runescape suggestions forums.

Look, if your mom still drops you off at school, you ain't gangsta, pull up your damn pants!

I believe the rsc macro-programs already had gotten around the fatigue word system thing.

thats, well easy in a sence thats it CAN be done, i know it can be done ive seen it done by a guy whom ive spoken to on AIM a few times who designed something similar for another online game like this.

all they do is turn the picture from the color it is to black and whip, map off sections of the screen and make a comparison tool run thru it all to match A for A or a for a.

This is a common mistake people make. An auto program can have many ways to detect a random event, some that i know of can include people finding unique colours on the random event, such as the colour of the DD's beard. They then set that as a trigger and then write in what to do when they see that colour. This is how programs 'cut' yews and 'mine rocks' with the colour renognition system. I do believe that a few of these programs actually take what is said on the screen so 'Leave dem fishies' or whatever the troll says, triggers another set of commmands.

The idea of 'cut yew' being written anywhere wont make any difference at all imh.

Im happy to be corrected or expanded upon though :

- My skills are now really, really lame ! Time to fix that! -

Probably, I'm not really sure how they work myself, I'm just passing this other player's ideas on to you guys, to see what you think about it.

I know for a fact that coal miners use colour... If they see the right shade it auto clicks on it and it mines it... I know this becuase a mod friend told me. He tested it by wearing coal coloured robes (something like black priest) to a popular coal mine... it works they click on the colour (you) and go wherever you walk because of 'walk' being the first option on you. I hear it is very funnny!

i hated the fatigue/sleeping bag era..i quit the second time because of that..it kills power training..especially if you cannot get 1 load off full fatigue

couldnt agree more. i dont see why we honest folks should suffer because some low life decided to cheat. sure, they earn exp/gp that they dont deserve but fatigue was just darn right annoying and pretty much ruin the fun of this game (even with the introduction of those lame sleeping bags). i hate fatigue and autoers with a passion.

Fatigue wouldn't work, and dang I hated that :x

most autoers are just mining ess or something to sell for rl cash on ebay, stopping the exp wouldn't help much.

So then why not create a random "event" that makes a useless coal-rock-colored [bleep]e appear where the first option upon clicking is to teleport to a holding "cell" where you must do some thing like mine the correct ores a miner assigns you to get out. When the rock appears, the coals will all lose its ore (become gray) so that only the [bleep]e is clicked on by autoers, and to prevent further color use, in the "cell", the colors of the rocks change each time, as well as the color you are assigned to mine to get out.
