Do You Like School!?

I love school. Everyday I get up in the morning exercise, take a shower, brush my teeth and go to school. I have 6 out of my 8 periods with this girl. We get along really well but the only bad thing is that she has a boyfriend. But she still flirts with me and stuff and we get along REALLY well. Another thing thats bad is she LOVES to get in trouble. She has been suspended like 13 times this year or something like that. But it's still cool when we hang out in like every class and stuff. She's pretty hot 8) . Other than that school isn't really that great but just being with her makes it worth it.

Not to sound completely geeky, but I'm someone who really enjoys learning. Well, I enjoy learning everything but English and history (strict history I mean. I like things like economics). The only down side to school is writing papers. The tests and homework I was able to deal with, but papers really got me. I'm just not one to write a huge paper. Homework was no problem because I never did it, and tests were no problem either because I understood the material.

Actually, I guess what I don't like about school is the emphasis on homework. In numberous classes I have gotten near perfect scores on every test, yet not as good grades as others because I didn't do the homework most of the time. I just don't see the point in doing busy work when I understand the material.

Saying from a 13 year old (going to high school in Sept.) school is bad and good. For one, homework is the thing that gets more people. If there was no homework, I wouldn't dislike school so much. University seems much better, since you study the things you LIKE, instead of learning boring things you HAVE to do.

I didn't like school (and I know I'm nobody's fool -- sorry). I had no problem with the work; I wasn't picked on: I just didn't like it. Too many idiots, too many teachers with politics and agenda in the way of their teaching. I don't rule out that I'm just not a people person, but, since starting college, everything in my life picked up tremendously. I put it down to a few things: the people there are reasonable (even the chavs are polite enough to, for instance, hold doors and say 'thankyou'); I learn new things each lesson (well, in lots of lessons, anyway); I've got so much more freedom, and am treated as an equal by the tutors (at least, to my face ).

I think it's because everyone there is there because they want to be.

School...um..had it ups and downs. Homework i didn't like doing but tests i normally get A's on it. Exams i dont get that bad but on math exams i get 100s in math.

I don't like most of the teachers, always bossy. Oh well still 4 more years of school

I enjoy parts of it. Several classes are interesting and you do learn something from attending them, but there are too many classes which are completely pointless. No, I am not one of those people who feel maths are pointless because you aren't gonna be using the things you learn outside of school, because I find that to be ignorant. The classes I am talking about are for example the Swedish and English lessons, which I can honestly say are among the most pointless ways I've spent my time. We watch random movies and read random books. I'd like to think I do that enough in my spare time.

But beyond said classes (which are mainly made pointless due to completely idiotic teachers) school is okay. I'd rather go to school than work, so I'm not complaining. I do believe college will be far more interesting however, so I'm really looking forward to it (just a few months to go :P).
