GRunyon Posted March 3, 2006 Share Posted March 3, 2006 I have been trying to come up with ways to pass the time training... so far Ive come up with two ideas: Radio - I use an online radio http://www.gotradio.com.. its really good free online radio with about 50 stations from hip-hop ro country to classical. Audio Books - Usually downloaded from a file sharing utility... these are excellent.. the only time they dont really work too well is when questing. If I am doing something that requires minimal attention such as fishing or woodcutting, then I am usually browsing the tip.it forums or playing Solitare/Sudoku. At first I just played card games like solitaire and stuff that isn't timed... but then I got more complex. I've been playing runescape for a long time on and off, since I was in 7th grade (and I'm a senior now 12th grade). I stick to games that I enjoy, so I've been playing the same games since... so I play Starcraft and Warcraft II (3 doesn't work on my other computer and rs lags on it). its tricky to not log out though. This keeps me from getting bored which allows me to do the long tedious tasks that are required to gain higher skill lvls. The writing for tv shows is always getting worse each year. So they are worth very little attention anyway. My second monitor is usualy on forums. I also like to check out or checking out http://www.gamesindustry.biz once a day. It keeps me up to date on the latest games. Good rescource since Comcast realy screwed up TechTv, following by a total foul up with G4tv. If I'm doing anything with time to spare I post a lot, but I'm doing something really busy I still can manage to see it sometimes if I still want to read because of the way I have my screen. In the top right corner I also stick like a calculator or an AIM screen or a notepad or other things. I also usually shove the RS screen up so the top part of the screen is actually aligned with the very top of the screen to get more forum room :D Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. When doing a skill that's non combat related, I'll put on a movie that I've seen before as a smaller window with runescape above it, and half watch the movie, half play runescape. tewas Posted March 3, 2006 Share Posted March 3, 2006 talk on AIM and other messengers and chats, read forums do homeworks. all depends what i'm training. wc, fishing, range means more time to do other things, stuff that needs constant clicking will keep me only with forums. and music 24/7, i'm seriuos, i sleep and woke up with music, same second i walk in my room after class i put music on, can't live without it 1500+ total 89 cmb; 1600+ total and under 93 cmb. 02/04/07 reached all skills 60+ under lvl 90 cmb. 07/19/07 reached all skills 70+ at lvl 93 cmb.Prayer is good for herbs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
