Mage training arena.... What do you think about it?

I have to admit that I have never been there so I have some questions...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How do you do it without using runes? I have read several guides and don't remember seeing that part in my reading......

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also is it worth it to go to the enchantment room before you are 87 mage?

 

 

 

Not sure if I should get mine to 87 before I go there so I get the most out of my cosmics (that I have to buy :D ).

I love the mage training. It is a great place to use the runes that you just crafted, (talking about cosmics, nature, and laws) and then use them in a fun way instead of just clicking. Also if you stick long enough with it, you get the gear which is so bright, you get to show off all your hard work. A+ in my book.

Same here. I got from 49 to almost 64 mage just from trying to earn bones to peaches. Now that I have it, I love it. I've been camping out at basalisks to earn 69 attack with minimal banking. :D

I stayed at Dust Devils for about 5 hours straight cause of that lovely spell. Only had to leave to recharge my torag.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The spell is the major draw Id say. The armor is awesome but I dont have enough time ( or runes ) to get em but I am sure I will sometime.

bones to peaches is a worthwhile spell to get, even if i do have a serious hate for the telekinetic theatre...

I love mage training. I am going for bones to peaches at the moment. Once I get that, the graveyard game should be a doddle. The problem I have is that the bananas dont heal enough quickly enough. I have to head to duel arena to heal once in a while. I love the enchanting and alchemy rooms. Great xp, lots of variation and generally good fun.

 

 

 

Can't say the same for telekinetic theatre though. It takes ages for the thing to move. You cannot move until it has stopped. I lose lots of energy running to the next point to cast the spell. I generally find it really tedious. After I have completed 10 games I just want to do something else.

The telekenetic room I guess is fun in the beginning but they are 5 different mazes! For 200 points?!!

I gave up getting infinity, but I am training for bones to peaches... Telekinetic theatre is sooo boring!

Not the best mage setup, but cheaper than Ahrims and easier to get than full infinity.

It's one of the biggest jokes in Runescape. Sure at first it was an exciting new medium towards training magic. Then, people became wise that the spells used only generate about 3/4 the exp that you would normally gain. That, along with the fact that one would need a ridiculous amount of pizazz points to purchase some of the mage training items are the reasons why the mage training arena is empty.

Maybe its because I only spent 1.2 mil to go from 85 to 94 magic, got 1k of deaths and of bloods, and picked up an outfit worth 15mil while I was there.

Yes, I made all my own runes. The 1.2 mil is about what I spent on ess.

 

 

 

30k ess and I double craft cosmics which is most of the 50-60k runes I used.

 

 

 

I just got infinity clothes and the book, but no wand and spell (even though I got the necesarry alch and enchant pts stored), because I was really bored with telekinetic theatre too :lol:

 

 

 

You know, I actually learned to surf the web while waiting for those silly statues to move into place or me to walk over to the spot after running out of energy. 8)

I like this updat a lot, i was questing for a 2 months now and really got bored so i thought i might check out the updates from this year, the mage training arena was the first, so now i'm going for full infinity with book spell and masterwand. It's gonna take me some time, because i'm mining my own essence and making my own runes.

 

 

 

I started with magic level 10 and now i am magic 36, now i need to runecraft because i runned out of runes, I'm gonna make also a guide of the arena with everything in it
