I am just curious as to how many of you have mains, AND pures. And also, curious to what some of you think about having a main and a pure. Some people tell me its a waste of exp to get exp on my pure and on my main and that i should just get it all on my main. What do you guys think?[/u]

no, pures get kills, if you like pking in low lvl wild get a pure.

im sure pures get kills... i saw this lvl 70 running thru the ogre enclave with full blk d hide i was like, well he has 40 defense... and way, i high scored him, his name was "oh shyat" (i know i named him and thats against the rules, but this kid impressed me so i feel the need to say his name)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

let me tell you, a lvl 70 with 14mil ranged exp 90 hp 60 atk 68 str 40 def 90 magic...your gonna have a hard time.

runescape itself is a waste of time, but so is many other things in life.

Smartest thing i've read/will read in a while, I agree 100%.

well a lot of strength pures lose money when pking because of the huge use of pray pots super pots sharks and the lose of ddses and dscims every once in a while.

 

 

 

Made worse by the lose of a whip which a pure that uses it always with only 34 WILL lose it sometime...

 

 

 

And then they don't get that much kills either making it only to be used for fun :) like I do :P

 

 

 

and about skill pures.... I definetly wouldnt like to do that I'd get the xp on my main :P but as pk pures they can be made for FUN :)

The whole point of a pure is to have better stats than your opponent right? well in my opinion there is soo many pures it kind of has made pures pointless because 80% of the time you are fighting other pures.

I recently made a skill pure, got him to some decent skill levels in 2 weeks, 4 skills lvl 60+ And I just did it for the fun of seeing people yell: "omg, you hacking noob, i'm going to report!1!1!1!" or my favorite "omg, your *random skill* is higher then my main's" :lol:

making and pking with my pure is some of the best fun i can find on the game. I have made almost all the money i invested in mine back and pking is so enjoyable.

Starting the game again with a new purpose can be fun. So if you don't mind putting XP into a new character (instead of your main) then a Pure is a good way to make the game fun again. :)

That is a good point. It is in my opinion that if you're going to put in the time for creating a very powerful pure (Be it a skill pure or a combat pure) you could be putting that time into your main account to make it more powerful.

I think pures are ok for pking and dueling, but for skills and such I think its just a waste of time. Thats just my opinion. Since I dont pk or anything I only have one character that I do everything on.

i think that pures kill because a friend has been staying at my house for a month and he has 5 more months anyways he has a mage/archer pure and if u havent noticed if his archer doent go over his mage lvl he wont raise a combat lvl, anyways (stormy mage4) im saying his name because you should look in the highscores he has 39 mage and 8 archer and he is lvl 25 he has owned so many ppl it is not even funny.
