anonymouse_
Don't you get more exp too when using it? I... don't think so. After doing the Cook's assistant quest or w/e it's called, it tells you that you will receive an extra 10% exp for using his range

stealthman8
you burn food less in lumby than anywhere else, and its very close to the bank so no doubt its the best place to cook 75/80 Hitpoints | 81/85 Strength | 1/1 Pray | 1/1 Defense [Make Me Rich!] | [Brutal Ownage]
Adam007
I don't know if this has been said yet, but I said this on another forum about your idea: It's only worth it for like sharks. With anythign else, it's just not efficient enough. Time equals money, and even if you're burning 5-10% less, you're taking like 20-30% a longer time because of all of that walking instead of having a fire only 2-3 squares away. Time equals money, adn even if you're burning more the faster way, its still more efficient for the time you spend playing.
thatkid
The lumby range/bank is great, I'm getting 82 cooking for sharks right now But I was thinking would this drive of the price for higher level raws such as swordies and sharks and lower the price of cooked a little..or do you think it wont have that much of an impact? Nevrane
lumby range is the best, I made a newb and did this quest just to find out. Part of the reward is using his "high quality" range Proud Owner of a Fire Cape
kdb148
I was wondering why Lumby was so crowded today and people were selling stuff there. Cool. Check out this cool browser gladiator game!
jiggeryqua
Well it aint all that....I just tried to finish Pirate Pete subquest of RfD by cooking my fishcake on the lumby range. I have 54 cooking, the tipit guide says 31 is needed...and I 'accidentally' burned the fishcake. All the way back to Khazard, then...[garden tool] hum... (Isn't RfD the reason lumby is crowded right now? I made over 15k on an invent of newt eyes there on Friday...just accepting first offers...) hkce
Well, to my knowledge there's only 2 cooking range in runescape. 1 is in lumbridge castle 2 is in Lletya Both will reduce the burning rate of cooking.

Unitedite
The cook's range means you burn less fish, but it DOESN'T give you more cooking exp per fish like someone suggested earlier. In a little hilltop village they gambled for my clothesI bargained for salvation and they gave me a lethal doseI offered up my innocence, I got repaid with scorn"Come in'', she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm"

BlackFalcon
Makes it easier to make tuna potatoes too when you can buy all the bowls and stuff right there almost. Only thing you have to run for is potatoes, tuna, and corn.

Nah, it is all that, if you hadn't cooked there you would have had even more chance of burning it... you might have super burned it :o Well. Will you go have a checking before you said that Lletya's range is NOT a "Cooking Range" I am SURE that the Lletya's range is a "COOKING RANGE". In fact, I just went there and double check. (To be accurate. There's 2 "Cooking Range" there) And those who is better range that can reduce burnt rate is named "Cooking Range" instead of "Range" in runescape.
