How old are Mods

Featured Replies

Curious to know the average age of a player moderator?

Does maturity come into it?

I know that there are thousands of kids out there who play and are below 10 years of age.

i know 2, 1 is 19, another is 17.

but honestly who cares?

I know for a fact that grin_king is more than 2000 years old; he also live under a rock and claimed to be one with the earth.

Many mods I know are same age as your parents, so that'd give you a clue. I suppose modding a forum/game isn't much different than herding a group of kindergardeners.

All I learned in life, I learned on Tip.it

hmm i personally dont think it really plays a role in runescape.. how old the mod are

Currently training all skills to or above 60.

Barrows drops: 87 runs done so far. Torag Platebody on 4th run. Guthan Chainskirt on 35th run. Dharok Helm on 45th run. Torag platelegs on 49th run. Ahrim Robeskirt on 86th run.

I think there's not an age limit in being a player mod. Of course the older you are, the more mature you get.

40,919th person to access Turmoil. 21,559th person to access Overloads.

Are there any hidden bonuses here?

No bonuses

I'd say that it's an average cross-section of all of the gamers ages. You might have one thats 15, and one thats 50. It doesn't really matter though, as age means nothing in a MMORPG. It's how old you ACT that counts.

Thats open to debate.

Raichase, quit Runescape.

Time issues really, nothing against the game itself. Something had to go, and it happened to be the addictive game that costs money to enjoy :)

Best of luck to all of my friends here!

Ask them your self if you see them. If they dont tell you, too bad. To some people age is a very personal thing.

Err... thats not such a good idea. More like you'll get a black mark for trying to get personal details - according to Jagex's rules :(

Oh yea forgot about that, such stupid rules these days :(

I think it doesn't matter what age there are but the matury level the have attained. IT is important because they are the ones that can make descions about muteing a person or not. If they don't have a high matury level than they are just going to go around and mute people at radom.

I will shoot down any one with my bitting wit, and sarcasm!

What POSSIBLE reason would someone have to make a fake like that?Does he profit from faking a picture like that? Does it help him at all?Jesus Christ, stop being so suspicious. This is Tip.it for God's sake, not RuneHQ. -_-

theres no way of jagex finding out your age unless you tell them, most accounts were created beforethe select your age screen, so it really doesn't play a part in them picking you.

Hmm, now that its been brought up, how does Jagex pick their mods?

Hah!

Of course, we don't know the context of those pictures. I'm hoping there was some sarcasm involved there... a lot of the time I jokingly type like more of an idiot than I am just to amuse myself and tease other friends.

If I wasn't there I'd have thought that myself lol, but there was no sarcasm involved. :x

I was 17 when modded.

Lol? The older I get, it seems the less mature I am.

Maybe it's my longing to return as a child that can do anything and play innocent.

Too bad I'm 15, I'm expected to behave like a young man.

And I say never!

18 when I was modded, btw - Insane ---> McCabe ownz :D
