Basically I was bored while WCing when a random scammer PMs me and tells me they are the Jagex GM, and I have a "virous" in my computer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

They log out but just lose connection.

 

 

 

 

 

 

They log out again but then come back for more, stupidly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

And this is where I get bored with them and report them. And then they log out. Please forgive my poor cropping skills :oops:

 

 

 

The moral of the story is if you're going to be a scammer, at least know how to spell virus. Please?

ROFL good stuff, good stuff, when you try to convince someone that you are jagex staff at least use correct spelling.

P.S. You're actually not allowed to show the name of the 'alledged' scammer, so if you don't want a mod to remove your picture you should edit the name out.

What is really sad about it, is that he thought you might actually give him your password. Actually, what would've been even more sad is I bet someone that is somewhere on RuneScape would have fallen for it.

I remember a guy tried to scam me once saying that ive been reported several times and was getting banned and he needed my pass. I carried on a conversation with him similar to that too bad i didnt take screens of it to show yall. :(

I love scammers, as strange as that sounds. Nothing brightens my day better then messing around with some guy trying to get your pass. My recent scam convo. off the top of my head.

I generally hate topics like this and count them spam on forums ...but this one is quite funny. It did make me laugh, and is exactly the way I treat scamemrs when I cross them on rs!

something's going wrong, no matter how hard I try, wear red mask and walk my gansta walk, I still never get any scammer that asks for my password :(

if you run around saying you got hacked, scammers will come after you thinking you'll be dumb enough to fall for it again. that's an easy way to have some fun :P

He says he's from the Jagex Staff and has heard that I was scamming people, so he needs my pass so he could see if it's true...

 

Really? I ask, can you prove you're from Jagex-staff?

 

Scammer: Read my name!

 

Me: I'm Kill Life, but I don't kill people neither...

 

Scammer: Give me your pass or you're reported!

 

Me: If you're Jagex staff, then why do you have to report me?

 

Scammer: I'll ban you!

 

Me: Go on.

 

 

 

Then I see a green dot, I ran to it and saw it was a lvl 3 Scammer, lol!
