GordanFreeman
Ever since i heard the song, i wished the intro to Over the Hills and Far Away was longer...that guitar melody is just so great...i wish it went on forever! Also, Brian May's guitar solo in Bohemian Rhapsody, that part DEFINITELY jumps out, plus it's such an awesome solo.(I mean the solo leading into the "Opera" part). 6cheesepie9
I really like the chorus of 'It's a Dream' by Neil Young. I've had it stuck in my head since I bought on friday. It's a dream it's only a dream and it's fading now fading away it's only a dream just a memory without any way to stay Neil rocks PS. Comfortably Numb's extended guitar solo in the live versions rocks too. MOD EDIT: Offensive text removed.
Necromagus
Therion - Abraxas The 'duet' between the male and female choirs in the second half of the song is absolutely brilliant. I turn it up to the point where my teeth are chattering whenever I get the chance. Therion - The Crowning of Atlantis The second time the choirs come around, this time with no instruments in the background. I don't know whether it's just amazing mixing or that it's actually sung like that in the studio, but it's absolutely brilliant either way. I'll have to get those songs, i'm a big fan of therion, probaly one song I love is The wonderous world of punt just for the last few minutes of the song. The entire song is all vocals preaty much, the choir, and then all of the sudden it goes to this amazing guitar solo.
RcS89
Wow, you pretty much answered for me... I was planning on giving Octavarium a mention the second I saw the title... I wish the Drumming intro to Strange Deja Vu would last a bit longer too though :P I love it :P Maybe the Mosquito Song (QOTSA) aswell... AMAZING, possibly my favourite song of all time.
