March 31, 200620 yr First of all, I felt this was more of a discussion then a help/advice or rant thread, so I felt it was better in this Forum. If a mod disagrees, then alright, move it to a different Forum, I don't have a problem with that. Is it just me or are the dragon drop rates of Iron and Steel Dragons not really 1/75 and 1/50 reespectively? I recently started there, so I'm kind of new to it, but while I was down there I burned almost 13000 chaos runes killing about 400 Iron and Steel Dragons (80% Iron, 20% Steel), and the best drop I got was a Rune Battle Ax (with a wealth..). I spent almost 2mil on runes down there, hoping I'd get some Dragon drops to compensate, but has the drop rate really decreased? Or does God just hate me? (notice my sig, 93 combat, 1.5 years, and yet to have 1 dragon drop) -Side note: While I was down there a lvl 99 with 87 Magic said he went from 80-86 Magic down there without a single dragon drop. I can't prove its true, but just sayin'. March 31, 200620 yr I lived there for months, 1400+ prayer pots (4) tens of thousands of cannonballs... 11 D leg/skirt drops, I don't think I made GP there. March 31, 200620 yr That's why everytime i go down there for slayer assignments, the metal dragon areas are always empty. Unless you have incredible luck, you won't cover the costs of runes or prayer pots. The self-proclaimed king of bronze.
March 31, 200620 yr Last slayer task , 2 dlegs and left half 2 days ago , left half 4 days before last slayer tast (bout 2 weeks ago) ... skirt and the drag that gave me 99 mage and 1700 total lvl dropped legs. So, just recently 3 legs , 2 left half and a skirt... Bout damn time! Oh, and these were all iron drag drops... and I dont use wealth ring. March 31, 200620 yr listen man, im only 92 combat which i consider high (for me) and ithe best drop i have had is a rune helm from the jellies and this is ever!!!!!!! its basically luck i also find u get better drops without ring of wealth, with the ring of wealth the rare rate is fixed so that it makes sure u get a rare but also makes sure it has a dop rate... witout the wealth it makes it all random which i think it better because if the rare rate has descreased then dnt use a wealth!

April 1, 200620 yr so far, I got 1 drag leg on my very very first iron drag for slayer... :P w00t, I used about 7k chaos then...then the next day i use like 3k and when I had 197 chaos left i get another legs.... all without wealth ring... I got pics stashed if anyone need proof...

April 1, 200620 yr i killed one iron for fun with a few sharks, dds antifire sheild and protect from melee, drag legs after one kill, never been back
April 1, 200620 yr imo you get better drops without ring of wealth the other day i got a clue on my fisrt hellgound and got an obby cape after around 10 kills all without ring fire cape 7-26-06

April 1, 200620 yr I dont waste any money on those drags.. I fish some lobs cook them get outmy anti and go to the drags.. I kill about 10 tele back and repeat.. got 2 dragon skirts that way :D I always tell the truth even when I lie
