peterdeath
[NOTE - click on the images to enlarge them!] A village which has sat in the middle of the ocean for so many years has recently been discovered. It lies south of Ape Atoll. No-one knows how long it has lay surrounded by vast water, but surely itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s very old. When we first got there, a paradise was discovered - an entire village full of trees, shops, and even an agility course! The local inhabitants are very friendly. So friendly infact - that theyÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re willing to let you use Thine old villesÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ assets completely free of charge! But wait - apart from this incredible new city, thereÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s more! Just wait until you get into the woodcutting guild! An amazing array of trees to chop, an axe shop, and even a new shop: the wood shop. Then look at the agility course! A fantastic amount of obstacles to complete, some of them new! But what town would be complete without itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s own mining area? This mine is complete with itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s own mining store! Then there is the usual - a few fishing spots to catch some of those lobsters to snack on, and a few ranges to cook them with. Of course - you can pick up some armour here. Get your platelegs and platebody here! Unfortunately, this village has not heard of rune or adamant, so only stocks up to mithril. Oh yes - thereÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s even a bank. Read on to get the specifics of Thine Old ville. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Well - youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d better take a look at the map first; Now that youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve studied the basic lay, itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s time to get into more detail; Follow the numbers, then look below at the guide. HereÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s the armour shops. On the left you can buy a platebody, and on the right is the platelegs shop. As I mentioned - this island hasnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t heard of adamant or runite. HereÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s the furnace. You can take all of your metals that you mined here, and turn them into bars. This is the rather large bank. As usual - the staff are very friendly, and can help you with anything you want. Ah - the woodcutting guild. Let me explain! On the left, you can see something that looks like a pile of burning logs. Here you can buy and sell your logs. Moving on, thereÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a nice bank so you can put all of your logs into it nicely. Then at the end of the terrace is a nice axe shop, so donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t worry if youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâve forgotten yoursÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢. you can buy one here. At these fishing spots, you can fish anything that can be caught with a small net or a harpoon. The mining site has a number of rocks. However, they arenÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t the best. YouÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll find a few silver rocks here, as well as some gold rocks. If youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re lucky, youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll even find some mithril rocks! Well - Thine Old villesÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ agility course is not for the faint-hearted. Here youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll be subjected to pain and sweat. Whether it would be the tightrope, the underground tubes or the water jump, thereÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s enough here to make anyone whimper. YouÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll need a level of 45 in agility to enter. And this is where you end the epic exploration of Thine Old ville. The sailor will be willing to take you back to Port Khazard without any bother. If you are the kind of person that needs LOTS of information, look at the three guides here; Woodcutting guild guide You need woodcutting level 70 (min.) to use this guild! NB - entry level changed due to feedback! Shops Woodcutting In the woodcutting shop, you can find all types of basic logs (normal, oak, willow, yew, magic), for a reasonable price. You can sell to this shop as well. Ironically, Nell the shop owner actually buys the logs when the trees are right outside! YouÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll find numerous trees around the guild. Axe YouÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll find many axes here, up to mithril. You can get them for a very reasonable price too! Trees HereÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a list of the trees youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll find; Normal 14 Oak 8 Willow 5 Yew 4 Magic 3 Mining area guide You need mining level 20 (min.) to use this area! Shops Mining You can sell youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re ores to this shop, as well as purchase a number of quality pickaxes up to mithril. Rocks In this mining site youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll find plenty of rocks; silver 5 gold 4 mithril 2 Agility area guide ************ You need agility level 45 (min.) to use this course! Any agility levelled player may enter this course, but will not be able to begin it by entering the first obstacle, the pipe. Obstacles Pipe Jagged chain (climb) Monkey bars High wall Zip line swing Underwater tunnel Jagged chain (again) XP gains for steps 20 25 20 15 10 30 25 Subtotal = 145xp Bonus = 75xp Total = 220xp So, now that youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve explored Thine Old Ville, you can now realise that it hasnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t been created yet. There is no woodcutting guild! There is no agility course! However, support and maybe itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll come true. Supporters list Petercoolboy <====don't call me sad. Giordano
I like it, exept I wouldn't put walls in it, since it's blocking the shore. Not a paradise without the view of the sea. The fishing spots should be in the ocean and not in the lake. Other than that I like it. Put me in the support list. SirHartlar
Sounds good to me, a well thought out idea. Have a pat on the back (not a cow pat mind you!)!
lunapasa
good idea! It's a nice island and I hope it's going to be put into the game (IF Jagex ever listens to you and IF they decide to think about it and IF Jagex finally makes it.) Isn't a woodcutting guild a bit..... useless? there are enough rare trees in runescape already.

Severation
You need to add a plateskirt shop too. Or take away the plateleg shop and add a 'waist and under' shop
scottdoggz88
nice idea, i would take out a few things, because it makes the place a little to...well makes every skill to easy.. plus the woodcuting guild should be more ballanced like 40 maple trees and 5 yews... whizkid338
I like it, but the woodcutting guild would just attract too many bots and you should take out the wall. R.I.P The Old Nite. Silverchipmunk
Pretty cool, but I agree that the woodcutting guild would make things a bit too easy. Eaither make more low and less high lvl trees, or up the lvl requirements. If you do that, put me on the list!
peterdeath
whizkid338 - the walls there for a reason - so that people train agility. I think I forgot to mention that theres a shortcut in the wall. Look along it on the map and you'll see it. kruimel0
add me, but only if the woodcutting guild is lvl 80 to enter, because of bots. (rsn: kruimel0) Give a man a fish, and he'll choke on the bones. Result: You get the rest of the fish. Teach a man to fish, and he'll catch a lot of fish, then choke on one of the bones. Result: You get all the fish he caught. Teaching people is better.

SaidinWoT
Isn't the second bank a little redundant? If the woodcutting guild has no text before entry (don't have to talk to people to get in, just open gate and enter), it would be better to have the single bank next to the entrance to the woodcutting guild. Then you'd be able to bank right next to the guild without the redundancy of two banks very close to each other. Just my thoughts though, basically I support if that's changed. Mollerz
That's very well done. And yes, 80 to enter, even thought I have 77 I don't care. Once I could get in the guild I would be there for a long time 8) Nicely done. Click my signature for my blog!
