Flame_guy3
Soul's bane is my fave quest!! It is easy and fun like hell and the cut scenes are well decent, and the start where i hit absolute shed loads with those anger weapons was amazing i watched the 100s and 140s go buy and i loved it. Wouldn't it be cool if we could keep one of the anger weapons or make ur own customized anger weapon? Post wat u think about Soul's bane i'd like to hear. I think merchanting is extinct.... Peronix
It was well made, that's for sure. It reminded me of a few scary stories I heard - RS style. But aside from that, it wasn't really that great. You only get a few hundred gp and very little xp rewards. At the very least they could have let you actually get xp for those high hits - no, I checked, they didn't. If you think for one second that anger weapons would be good outside of that quest, you're nuts. However that idea appeals to my sense of pure awe, logically, it would be a huge mistake on Jagex's part. A little newblet one hitting a level 126 becaue he got lucky isn't very fair. Although, if you're talking about it in terms of them NOT being so insanely powerful but just yet more useless tokens - well, that would probally be a good idea. I mean, you should be able to take somthing more than a few gp out of it.
lagatag
It definately has one of teh best stories of a RS quest so far, but it was too short. Hopefully it will get a sequel that expands on what exactly is so special about that cave *cough* Zaros *cough*
Flame_guy3
Well Peronix of course i wudnt want it that powerful I'd like it like as a decorative kind of weapon but just as powerful as lets say a rune weapon outside the quest. The idea of a sequel is kinda cool lagatag but like Peronix says we definitely need a better reward like about at the LEAST 2k of xp on hp and def and at the LEAST 10k or what would be cooler is if I could keep that anger battleaxe that looks awesome!! Flame_guy3
Personally I would say the hopeless creatures as long as you have a few doses of antipoison. I think the confusion beasts are annoying so thts why i wouldnt say they were good lol. I think merchanting is extinct.... Peronix
They all give fair xp, but there are MUCH better places to train. Tolna's beasts don't drop anything, not even bones (so no prayer xp or bones to peaches). I get much more xp training on level 45 skeletons with salve ammy. And, if those weapons would be as strong as rune, then you'd have to buy them or somthing. Jagex dosen't just give out items that strong without making you pay for them after the quest or making you endure an actual challenge during the quest. Let's face it: the quest was short, even for someone not using a guide (I didn't have one and it took me 15 minutes), and just about any level 50 or so could do it.
