My acc's 2 yr and 1 mth old. Yea, I nvr get much of mimes. none of freaky forester. only 3 of the frogs. And alot of tree spirits, shades, zombies, evil chickens, swarms ...

Don't think so, I think its more in what you do, I got 11 frogs in 4 months, 10 of them when I was alching.

 

 

 

My friend who smiths a lot got mime many times during smithing.

 

 

 

I get lots of Quiz Show when I train on green drags and try to tele to bank, I've got 2 Quiz Shows within 2 hours of green drag slaying.

 

 

 

I don't smith much, and I have never got a mime.

I've thought about that too... I got three mimes from the time I was maybe about lvl 45 to lvl 58.

ive been playing for just over a year. have never gotten a mime, or a freaky forester, or a maze. way too many frogs/mom/swarms/alcoholic dwarves. it seems like no matter what i do, or whatever skill i train, i dont get any of the good randoms.

I'd say it's best not to worry about such things. My hypothesis: Events happen when you least expect them.

 

 

 

The fact that they're random (or uncommon for you, if that's what you believe) gives you that extra 'happy' feeling when you get them.

All for the better. Swarms may be annoying, but they keep something else probably more annoying away (maybe even just temporarily).

 

 

 

Plus, actively trying to get certain random events will either work, or sometimes make you even more disappointed.

been playing 3 year, gotten 1 mime and maze, never dril sergeant. i got my first frog YESTERDAY. although i've gotten full zombie and emotes from fg's. gotten laden hosen legs and top both while in port phatysmas. its kinda annoying, i want camo!!!

Anyone else had problems like that... i've never had drill sergant, frog, maze, Leo the gravebloke, candles, freaky forester...

I've been playing RS for about 4 years. I have full Mime, all emotes (and have had quite a few after getting the outfit/emotes), full Leaderhosen, many many many Frog outfits (dropped them for sake of bank space), quite a few mazes and countless MOMs and others.

I really think you might want to notice the key thing about random events: they are RANDOM. This means that nothing influences how many or which ones you get, except what skill you are working on at the time.

no its because the lower levels do stuff the higher levels dont like search drawers and haystacks and cupboards

Are you sure, i have never noticed looking in drawers to help

I don't consider Random events that random anymore. My theory is that most of them happen when a person is doing something over and over again. For example, I hadn't gotten a frog event until about two months after it came out. On that day I was training my range up at the guild and I got three in the same day. I find this anything but random.

 

 

 

Don't take this as a suggestion of breaking the rules or anything, but in my opinion, the only sure fire way to get a random is to act like a macro, or actually get one... :? Don't actually!

i tried what you said, 2 hours at the hill giants, spoke to no one... buried bones every time my pack was full of them... not one event

Random only occurs depend on what type of things you do. For example everyone should know the more bones you bury the more zombie random events you have. I don't see your mad from not getting random events, to me its kind of a time eater. :)

I just want zombie emotes... and mime mask... but i never get random events

lol my main had 2 mimes in one night before, that was well after i recieved the full set, it seemed to get loats of mimes and mazes, strange fruit also.the account i play now seems to have alot of frog randoms thought

4 hours of hill giants now, killed about 1k and buried there bones, is it better to bury ASAP or when your pack is full. oh yeah, one shade, and 2 mysterious old men... nought else

My Lord Umega is 2 yrs old now and I still haven't had a drill instructer yet..still waiting.

 

 

 

Many people havent gotten it. Id call it the rarest random event.

 

 

 

And I doubt acount age correlates to random events at all. Ive been playing for less then a year, yet Ive gotten every single random event (all Im missing is 2 mime emotes until I have every random event item, as well).

 

 

 

I personally wouldnt consider anything under two years old to be an "older acount", but I guess thats just me :?
