April 17, 200620 yr paddewwa tele much better  The Complete MTA Handbook | Runecrafting Pouch Analysis | Mobilizing Armies Locator Index
April 17, 200620 yr Author its kind of slower i have tried it tho its good but a bit slower you have to recharge the glorys the other way though :)
April 17, 200620 yr its not same speed. Yes but if you have atleast 15 glorys (whihc most rc'ers do) it isnt that long considering 60 trips for one trip to hero fountain.
April 17, 200620 yr It isn't faster. Glory or ancients tele is still the fastest method since it eliminates the return travel time it would take to normally runecraft. The self-proclaimed king of bronze.
April 17, 200620 yr Glory owns, although if you are like... choosing between rcing deaths through ardy, or.... -.- i'd probably die if i had to do that. this method is pretty slow, and for those who can't craft laws, it would be costly or time consuming, to either buy them or try to get into world 66.
April 17, 200620 yr paddewwa tele much better  Get a guy in the alter with the runes for it and it's perfect :) put him in jail Then i'll just wait for him to drop the e-soap
April 17, 200620 yr paddewwa tele much better  Thats expensive and much slower. Glory for the win. http://www.soundclick.com/rztheheretic
April 17, 200620 yr glorys own, i have 10 right now and probly should get more. That is 40 trips in the abyss...over 1.5k runes per re-charge. they are also usefull for when wanting to get to a bank i dont have to worry about waist my charge (as would be the case with someone with just a few, they would rather walk a min then use a charge maybe as it is a hastle to recharge every few tellys)... i also have the added bonus of being 85 mining so I can pick up the ores (hopefully) when i run through the heros guild to charge 72 rc btw RSN: Bantam222 [105 combat] [1578 total level]Support my quest for 1600 Skill Total!
April 18, 200620 yr paddewwa tele much better  Thats expensive and much slower. Glory for the win. Don't forget another advantage of the glory: It doesn't take any inv spaces and you make more runes each trip. 2 more runes per trip (over paddewa tele) is a big benefit, it adds up. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well. And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.[hide]YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.- See You, Space Cowboy.[/hide][/hide]
April 18, 200620 yr its kind of slower i have tried it tho its good but a bit slower you have to recharge the glorys the other way though :) It wouldn't be any different then having to craft and enchant the emerald rings. Obviously you can buy in bulk, but the same can easily be said for glories. Either way... Glories are faster while runecrafting. Other factors may alter those results to a degree. If you're saying you have 50 Rings of dueling... you have to compare that to someone who has 50 glories. Dueling rings have a higher charge, but I wouldn't say its better even in that regard. There are obvious pros and cons to each method. I know when I was nature crafting though... oh so many months ago... I opted to do the Glory method. Glories would also probably be the cheaper method in the long run. Seeing as though you don't have to continue buying rings. That is if you don't die (Never lost a glory while doing Abyss runs myself). R.I.P Shiva
April 18, 200620 yr i don't use the abyss often but when i do i've only died once and that was because i was VERY slow to react, i wasn't really thinking... i've also heard a few people around this forum say that ectovial isn't stoped by a teleblock, i've never actally proved it but one time i usued ecto to tele away then tried to tele back to edgy and couldn't cause i had been tele blocked... -= weasel =- rsname: moosewalker ~ top 10000 player :Dfull qp - always willing to chat add me...
April 18, 200620 yr weasel, I do some abyss rc'ing (52 runecrafting now :D), and I can tell you definitively that teleblock does stop the ectophial from working. I was rc'ing and then I came across this ANNOYING mage who kept on casting this odd spell at me (which I had never seen before) and then trying to entangle me and kill me with a dds. He never could, however, pull off both spells before I got into the abyss, even if I walked part of the way. Anyways, there was this one time when I heard that telltale sound of a spell whirling towards me (ugh...I hate it!). Reacting quickly (because I was nervous beyond belief), I click the ectophial. I teleport and the spell hits me when I'm at the Ectofuntus. Well, I go to the bank, do a few transactions and talk to a few people, get out my glory, and try to teleport. I click "Edgeville" and the next thing that comes on my screen (or something like this): "You are teleblocked. You cannot teleport." I believe I even tried the ectophial...still didn't work! So I stood there, glancing at the computer, finally realizing that mages are WAY too overpowered. I mean, there has to be a teleblock-block, right? Please, can there be?! And I just stood there, pacing back and forth to keep from logging out, and then finally tele'd to edgeville and continued crafting. Why? Because I"ve only been killed once and that was because my computer lagged...badly (and because i brought a 2-click tele instead of a 1-click one). And the worst part is, I had to be the poor noob with the green hide with a skull above his head facing a level 67-78 with 60+ attack and 85+ mage who wanted me dead for a glory, some cheap armor, and some essence he will never use. Why can't a pk'er like that set his sights on somebody with more cash? And why me?! ...So, yeah. Teleblock does affect ALL types of teleports. And for the canoe trick...it's been around since the canoes came out. It's nothing new. Before you go and praise this "amazing" new way to travel, you should actually try it out sometime. Before I did "Hero's Quest", I tried this in hopes of making some money and finally rc'ing efficiently. Well, when I actually tried it, it took me like 2:30 - 3:00 per run, and I was still getting in harm's way! Seriously, you could do it the Karajima way faster (more like 2:00 - 2:30 per run, depending on your agility lv and how bored you are), and you only have to worry about essence stealers (I would always get back at them...and, sometimes, I would steal the wrong essence and trade it back to the person ). Seriously, this is NOT the way to go, and the matter should not be pressed to any large extent, except to those who wish to read "The Noob's Guide to the Runescape Universe".
