Didn't see the English game but heard it was good.

The Scottish cup game had a great ending, very nervous towards the end for both teams.

Anyone watch either game?

Oh, and while I'm on about football, Congrats to Scotland on winning the Kirin Cup in Japan :P What a day of football. Now we've just got the European Cup Final on Wednesday to look forward too.

What a game the FA Cup Final was... I was nearly sick a few times I think. West Ham played a great game, got really lucky goal-wise though.

Sissoko was outstanding. Reina was outstanding. Gerrard was absolutely [bleep]ing unbelievable... His goals were just unreal.

We love you Liverpool, we love you Liverpool...

Rats! Liverpool escape with another lucky victory, but it was a really good game. I really do hope Gerrard plays that well in Germany, he was brilliant today, what would Liverpool do without him?

Unlucky for Gretna too, they did great to hold Hearts to pens, would have been amazing if the had won it.

Slow down.. another? lucky? Ok we know you're a Man Utd fan but coming back from behind doesn't mean youre lucky. Scoring from, was it 40 yards?, isn't luck mate. That West Ham's cross which turned into a goal was luck, it was luck when it came off Reina's chest and he tapped it in.. it was also very lucky for them when Carragher scored an own goal.. but nowhere in that game did Liverpool get lucky. If anything, luck was against em.

Well I think liverpool shouldn't have one. It's always the same. Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool, you get the idea. Someone else for a change?

Hardly, chelsea have only won it around 3 times.. Liverpool, spurs, arsenal, aston villa, newcastle, everton, west brom, wanderers, bolton, man city, sheffield united and wolverhampton have all won it more times than them.. but Liverpool definitely deserved it this year.

I watched the Hearts Gretna game. I can;t say it was dissapointing for either team however. Hearts have won the cup, and Gretna got to the Cup Final after only 3 years of being a team.

It WAS really tense at penalties, could have cut the atmosphere in my house with a knife.

I'm neither a Liverpool or West Ham fan but that was the most exciting cup final I have watched in years.

There was a huge cramp epidemic on the pitch!

Reina had an awfully sketchy game that made three saves to be the hero.

What more can you say about Gerrard it was West Ham versus him.

As you can tell from my absence yesterday on OT I was out 'celebrating' Liverpool's triumph.

Deja vu or what. The Miracle of Istanbul practically repeated itself. We've won the first and last FA Cup finals in Cardiff now. Now I'm hungover, sitting here with a huge pile of bacon next to me, re-watching the game and loving it. What a final. Both clubs played their part in a great day for English football, and football in general with the cracking Scottish final as well.

-3 Respect points for you Bubsa ;).

I dont really follow football, too statistical for my liking. But Hearts is certainly a fairy-tale isnt it. Where were they a few years ago? Nowhere. Where could they be in a few years? Who knows...

Actually Hearts are one team who have constantly been in the top league and have been one of the best teams in Scotland over the years (outside Rangers & Celtic) alongside teams like Dundee Utd, Aberdeen and Hibs.

It's about as much as a fairytale as Chelsea's last few seasons have been. Same kind of story. Rich Russian comes in with lots of money and buys success. The same can be said about Gretna too.

Too bad I only saw the, uhm, extra time (the half hour after the normal play-time), it was quite heavy, lol. Realy a battlefield, at several parts half of the players were on the ground. Those English people keep going!

Bounced off Reina's chest? Get out. He fumbled it in a big way. Even you must admit, West Ham played really well in the game and deserved something out of it. I'm not a big fan of penalty shootouts. If its a draw after 120 minutes of football, it should go to a replay.

West Ham did play extremely well, but to say that Liverpool were lucky and West Ham weren't is a joke. You can look at the goals and see who's luckier.

West Ham - Own goal; fumble by Reina; cross-turned-lob

Liverpool - Inch perfect pass from Gerrard to a great finish by Cisse; Unstoppable volley from Gerrard, and an unbelievable 35 yard strike from the G-man.

West Ham did play great, and it looked like they coulda beaten us... But I'm getting sick of people calling Liverpool lucky. We do this too often for it to be luck.

The FA Cup Final was probably one of the best matches I have ever seen. I was glued to the television set for 3 hours....then another 45 mins for Dr Who later that day. :D

I was stunned by that early own goal, very unlucky for Charrager (Sorry I cant spell his name) and Reina. It was just a lack of communication. I was stunned again when West Ham scored again minutes later. I am a Liverpool fan but I was sure Gerrard would save the day. :D

Fortunately Liverpool picked up the pace when they almost scored but Crouch was offside. But then tried same set up but Cisse got it in I think. I was feeling happier at half time when it was 2-1 as I knew Liverpool could make it back. When Gerrard scored from the rebound of the defenders and strikers I was whooping for joy as my prediction was correct of Gerrard pulling it level.

Again I was stunned when one of the West Ham's players was supposed to cross it across the box but somehow got it in the goal. West Ham was 4 minutes away from lifting the cup when Steven Gerrard made an amazing goal from about 40 yards out. He leveled the game again! I am very sure that he is going to be absolutely fantastic at the world cup. I remember him saying that people have not seen the best of him yet a couple of months ago. He has certainly proved it.

It was so sad to see all the players getting injured and tired, i remember people quoting extra time as literally walking football as all the players were tired.

I knew Liverpool could do it when it came to penalties thanks to Reina's superb skills.

I look forward to seeing more of Liverpool and especially Steven Gerrard in the future.

I felt so bad for Gretna they came so close. That tackle that Robbie Neilsen made for Hearts in the second half saved them big time. At least Gretna had the moral victory on the day - they played better.

I caught little moments of the FA cup final, I flicked over just as the PA system announced there were 4 extra minutes to be played - I dont know why but when I saw the ball coming to Gerrard then I just expected him to score.

Sissko wasn't a star by any means, and reina apart from the penalties had one of his worst games all season. Was a true shame west ham didn't win it. I think liverpool somewhat deserved it but great game regardless.

Yes I agree we definitely need Gerrard more than Rooney in the world cup.
Why do you change the font and make the size smaller? I'm sorry if it's off topic but it really bugs me... are you that desperate to have somewhat of an identity in this forums that you change the font, and it's so frustrating if you want to read another of your posts you can't glance at it from afar because you made it so small...
