Captaingoodguy Posted May 22, 2006 Share Posted May 22, 2006 Ever tried Masters of Might and Magic: Quest for the Dragon Bone Staff (i think thats what it is) for the PS2? Well it should burn in sucky game hell! Another bad one was probably Pirates! for the Xbox, at first it was good but after the first hour of gameplay it became super repetitive. If you want a good game play Ninja Gaiden Black! Probably the hardest and funnest game ever, took me so long to finish it, and that was just story mode. I am not even close to finishing the missions. Mr_Putter Posted May 22, 2006 Share Posted May 22, 2006 Halo 1 was not good, but that doesn't make it the worst game ever. Easily the most overrated game ever, but it was still fine. Atleast it was free of major bugs, and it was quite playable. Just rediculously overrated. Haven't played Halo 2 single-player, but based on lots of multiplyaer playing, I can tell it's pretty much the same. The worst game? I'd say Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing Basically it's a racing game without the racing or the game. You are in a truck and aparently it's a race and you are supposed to escape the police. BUT, the opposition just sits at the starting line when the race starts, and there are no cops. There's no competition, no timelimit. Not only that, but you can accelerate rediculously fast, and get this: you can accelerate infinately faster and faster just by holding down the forward key. Then stop on a dime. You can travel up vertical mountains and out into a big grey nothingness where you just keep going faster and faster. And it doesn't matter about the speed or the controls, you can drive through anything and everything. Want to go over that bridge? Forget it, it doesn't exist, you'll fall through. That building? Ghost building, you'll go right through. There's also ridiculously poor graphics, and no sound effects to speak of other than a few techno tracks. The only redeeming feature of the game is that when you get the the finish line, it says "YOUR WINNER" And when do you think this game came out? 2003. half life sucks Now that's just stupid. It was meant to be this "omg so awesome" experience and when I play it it's just "meah". The entire thing is just hyped up to the max. And Bubsa also has a valid point, it took a step backwards. Even Halo, which I dislike a lot, is clearly not worse than lots of stuff. How the hell could you like Halo and think Doom is the worst game ever? If there was no Doom, there wouldn't have been a Halo/it wouldn't be as good/it wouldn't have come out as soon. While Dooms revolutions may be overstated slightly, it did bring online deathmath, which is a huge advancement for its time. For it's time it was a pretty darn good game. The characters (Human, Mercenary, Darken, and Scorp Imperial) and HAWCs (Heavy-Armor Weapons Chassis) pretty much had corners sticking out. Game interface itself wasn't bad, but it's pretty hard if you want to aim perfectly. No usage of mouse except when you're clicking on the game menu. In the actual game it's all keyboard. :?
