dorington
well, basically the other day i wanted tree seeds so i had 2 options, giant mole or woodcutting. yep, giant mole more fun. here's how i do it: to start off with you are gonna need p pots, energy pots and stat inhancers if you really want to. you geussed it, to chaos druids. when you have about 10 p pots (4) and about 12 energy pots (4) your ready to go. Inventory need: tinder spade light sorce 10 p pots (2 or 3 if you plan banking between kills) 12 engergy pots Weild: as little as possibe. I weilded a ddp, glory ammy, ring of wealth and legends cape. More sets your energy back. I would suggest using melee as you don't need lots of rune or arrows. For a weapon i suggest a dds (though i used a ddp) as poison really helps. monks robes would also be useful with a prayer book. Fighting the mole: find the mole (comes up yelllow on mini map). Walk to it aswell so you waste no energy. now put on protection from melee and special the mole until theres no special left. cary on stabing it and sipping p pots if needed When it get below half health the mole runs. it can put out you light so bring a tinder or you will die! When it runs put run on and search the lair until you find it again. after a few shots it will run again. find it again. this is where you need energy pots if you hadn't figured out. When it dies pick up claw and skins, bones and drop if you want to. wait in the middle of the lair for it to appear again. kill it again if you want to. i'm only lvl 83 cb and can kill it about 7 times each trip on my own. theres an exit o the south where a rope apears hanging down. if you climb it you will end up outside the chain mail shop fally. Notes: to get into the lair use spade on the mole hills in fally park mole claws and skins can be traded for birds nests with the gardener wyson i suggest bringing tele runes to jst incase if multi killing RAHK gave this idea: I would suggest that you have 2 people go for the fastest kills. One in full guthans who takes the hits and one in dharoks who gets low hp and brings the pain. Strategically placed cannons can make the mole stay out of certain areas and can speed up the first part of the battle. Northwest corner and the little clear area to the south are great choices after he digs. RAHK
Why don't you wear monk robes? Or did you just forget to mention them? Use str and att prayers during the dds specs then turn them off. You can also solo him without prayer or food if you get him trapped and hally/range/mage him until he digs. When you find him again you can then eat or pray or just use a distance attack and keep away from his claws. I would suggest that you have 2 people go for the fastest kills. RAHK
and if your not rich enough for barrow stuff??? i should add monk robes though, good idea I wasn't implying that was the only way but it is the best way if you can afford it, of course. I do think you should add the hally/mage/range solo, though, since you might be so poor that p pots are out of reach. The best drop that I have gotten was rune 2h and using p pots would cost more per run than the profit (on average of course). I cashed in 10 nests once and recieved 3 empties and 7 tater/cabbage seed loads, lol. Strategically placed cannons can make the mole stay out of certain areas and can speed up the first part of the battle. Northwest corner and the little clear area to the south are great choices after he digs. a lil bit over kill RAHK  I usually solo it wearing blk d hides elf bow and dds with 12 energy pots and about 8 lobs or now 6 monkfish. I use the 4 specs on it with melee prayer then switch to bow and range it. If it runs with near red bar, I find it and wait for it to die with 1 or 2 hit from the poison of the dds ( I do this since I once lost the drop reason of it digging away with only a few hp and poison killed it of screen). with a full charge of prayer I can kill it 4 times and I usually end up eating food not to heal, but to make room for the hides and claws. Then simply tele to lumby charge prayer, tele to fally trade the hides and claws and repeat till magical lvl 40's apear  P.S. : Only reason I dont like being down there with other players is that they hit 0's to often and make it dig. I end up using all my energy pots on 1 or 2 kills. RAHK
kk i'll add it in jst as notes though as this is a soloing guide Lol, I meant the part about safespotting the mole not the duo tactic. My wife soloed it with her 54? combat level and a rune hally. Took me forever to convince her that it couldn't hurt her, lol. She normally fights men or goblins for nearly 70 attack so far, lol. She was shaking too much to try a third go so I let her return to the goblins  . She hasn't died yet EVER and her goal is to be able to wear all the barrows armor without dying ONCE. Anywho, add the hally/range/mage deal and take off the duo tactic if you want. Sorry for the confusion. I would suggest that you have 2 people go for the fastest kills. Everytime that I have tried ranging it I never get the drop (level 80s out damage me  ). Do you safespot to range it or just pray melee? I once lost the drop because some crafty lvl 40 stood over it and I couldn't see the red dot on the minimap. And overkill means faster kills. :P Without the cannon and using super pots you can still make a profit but will have to foot it a lot more. hamgod316
I like to bank in between trips because I don't like using prayer pots for the mole. I usually tele to Lumby, recharge my prayer, tele back to Fally, use the bank, and then back to the mole's lair. The recharging can be done fairly quickly and you'll be back by the time the mole respawns. - Affliction - 100 Combat - 9/15/06Merchant / Skiller

I hit great with range and there is about 1 gazillion safe spots for range (ok maybe 10) I usually kill it within 3 digs on the moles part. Only use prayer for the first 3 dds specs to poison it. CampbellMC
Or if you dont want to waste a ton of money getting a few kills soloing, Bring a Cbow or Good arrows, Ranger gear is very light so you can wear it all. A few energy pots if you need them and possibly a ranging pot if you are low range. There is alteast 1 safe spot for every place he can spawn :P

stanford
Want to know how I kill it? It costs nothing and is fairly effective for a higher level like myself. Set the respawn point to Falador. Wield the mining helmet and a dragon dagger (s) You should have a spade in your inventory. Fight the mole. Use all 4 dd(s) specials then hide behind a rock for him to die. Use prayer when you fight the mole to keep from taking damage. WHen your prayer is almost depleted leave the cave and bank at falador. Store your mole stuffs and enter the cave and have him kill you. When you respawn rince and repeat.
LordSoultar
When I solo the mole I wear monk robes, initiate helm, Fire Cape, unholy book, white knight boots, barrows gloves, glory ammy, whip/dds combo, and wealth ring. With this prayer bonus and 70 prayer, I can usually get 3-4 kills on my natural prayer alone. Though I do bring 1 p pot which I drink a dose of if I need to while finishing my kill. I drink one dose of super str and super att per two moles. When I need to recharge prayer I tele to lumby and use the alter there, then tele back to fally and bank.
