Dunno, but I really don't get how anyone finds typing text over and over to sell something or spend hours trying to get into a world only to get a white screen fun :? Amen broda. Anyways, I'm just agreenin' with him, whats the point of playing if you don't do what you think is fun? For me that mainly DK's and Barrows, and of course Castle Wars :P . I stopped skilling when I realized how much I hated it and how pointless it was to me(I feel a better feel of accomplishment and joy when I get a great monster drop/chest, not from achieving a skill goal -other then Magic of course :roll: -.) Cons: Too expensive to buy anything. Case in point. Too expensive for 90% of Runescape players. ___________________________ On a different note. Don't treat Runescape as a chore...don't do it ever. It's a sign that your an addict, and while it may be fun for you it's a serious mental condition if it becomes large. Doing drugs may be fun but eventually it takes over your life and you wonder what happened. Any mmoarpg is like that unless you learn to controll it. Give me a reason to change my opinions like for farming you can make a profit from ranarr seeds and white berry bushes. i got several reasons for you 1) something that you can actully show for your money that you have no chance of losing to a random event( ie party hats) 2) BARROWS ARMOUR REPAIR; nuf said 3) unlimited teleporting, cutting barrows runs times = more money faster 4)... its a house... ReneDestroy Posted June 2, 2006 Share Posted June 2, 2006 I know I'll be using the portals, simply a teleport to the house and then use the portal to Canifis seems much faster than using the Ectophial. That's just a small thing but it actually is very useful and after a while will end up saving you quite a bit of time. Building a house is just something for fun. It's something to do, take a break from doing the hard skills and do a skill that's fun and fulfilling. Sure you might spend a lot of money but like I said it's fun. You can tele to your house easily and cheaply, then tele to a variety of other places for free. You can sell furniture you make at a workbench Decreased Barrows repair (as has been mentioned) Convience of having all different skill things in one place (Range, Altar, Games) The new kites and helms look awesome. Especially that Sara kite... But 70 prayer aint too close for me, lol Something you nd your friends can compete with. I know one of the biggest reasons I built my hosue so nice is so it would be nicer than my friend's, haha. He's my friend in of 10 years in RL too so theres a bit more competition. And fun. tewas Posted June 2, 2006 Share Posted June 2, 2006 it's fun and different. also it has soo much good things that you can build. also you can bring your friends over, just to hang out and have fun in dungeons or at baxing ring, tell your servant to make food and grab some beer while sitting next to beautifull fireplace in rocking chair. Do you seriuosly need more explanation? 1500+ total 89 cmb; 1600+ total and under 93 cmb. 02/04/07 reached all skills 60+ under lvl 90 cmb. 07/19/07 reached all skills 70+ at lvl 93 cmb.Prayer is good for herbs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have other ways to make money, not every skill needs to be a big profit maker, the game needed a skill for just plain old fun. I like the fact of sitting around my big mahogony table and chatting with 4-5 of my close friends. Nice to be able to just do nothing on the game once awhile and just meet new people and have fun. :wink: Have I spent alot of money on the new skill...
