I'm just wondering. I posted on official forums to sell a bunch of my stuff and got it twice within half an hour. These people are just annoying, and if you know what they're up to the call you a noob :lol: !!

 

 

 

So i'm just wondering, how often do YOU get this? (this thread is not here to discuss this scam since i think we all know it by now, but to see if other people besides me get is as often too :wink: )

I can't sell anything expensive on the forums without getting this once at leats usually. It's gotten so commmon that if they say meet them in edgevill ei say no. from now on i designate the world and place for my trades. if ppl dont want to buy it then , then it's there loss.

um, i lost 500k that way once, when it was just discovered. (hey the guy was wearing a purple phat :P)

I got it once when I was selling my Full Rune (t). He wanted me to follow him as he walked, and I just ran around. The actual guy waiting was too far out and ran after me. Haha, they coulda got 2.9M cash and full rune (t), but they sucked. Yay! 8-)

i LOVE when it happens, like EYOWAREYA said, i just own them, they are not expecting to get hit i just own them, usually get hundred blood, and some nice new mystic armour :)

What's wrong with asking to meet at edgeville? It's not in the wilderness, is it. All my trades take place in edge bank, it's easy to get to with a glory, and a common meeting place.

 

 

 

Just because someone asks you to meet there doesn't mean you are going to die. They can't instantly pull you out of the bank into the wild and kill you, if they ask you to meet anywhere closer to the line of the wild than that, refuse and tell them to go to the bank. If not, grab some pk gear and show them a thing or two ;).

Gotten it 2 times. Both times i merked the mage that tried to kill me (like their are gonna hit on 88 mage and hides?) got 2 full mystics, 2 dds, 1 d scimmy, 1 whip*ftw* from those idiot.

what's wrong in meeting in edge is because 80% of the time i tele to edge and then they say can u meet me a prayer guild or some other [developmentally delayed]ed lureing place. After 10 times and going with melee gear just to fight them it gets old. especially when u ahve them almost dead and all the need to do is walk down a step and u can't attack them. I admit it was fun at first but now it's just old.

I got my first today, some one who will remain nameless offered full d for my robin set. When i arrived in edge, he told me he was alching behind the rune plate seller's house, he offered an extra whip for me to go to him. Although he wasn't very convincing wearing ancients.. Reported him of course.
