All I'm saying is that I disapprove of it. Just because I don't agree with you about its morality does not make me wrong in any way or form, nor does it make you wrong. I merely voiced my opinion on the matter...the wilderness is not about usign NPCs to slaughter your opponent. If you were getting back at a person who wronged you, I could understand, but you're killing indiscriminately! And that I don't agree with.

 

Morality in an online game? Haha, let me laugh.. Start with the real world and we'll see after. Basic morality is already preserved by RuneScape's rules, and as long as those are respected, it's fine.

This thread has become more about bashing me than anything else. I'm not saying that I do not think lurers are disgusting or horrid or wicked, but at least they use their own strengths to kill their victims. About the "indiscriminant" part, I think I should've been clearer; you state that it is an evil trick against pk'ers, but I'm stating that you're killing everybody, not just those that prey on the weak.

 

 

 

I know that the wildy is a dangerous place, and I assume the risk whenever I enter it, but I would rather have it that an "honest" pk'er kills me and earns my items than a weasel position a high level monster and loot me.

But if you want my opinion, as blunt as I can put it, you're a pk'er wannabe that couldn't hack it in the wild who decides to manipulate an NPC that is designed to give players a challenge in order to steal from other possibly innocent players.

i teamed with a clan while killing the c elemental with the "hit and run" tequnique and (lol) i got the drop which was 500 airs and a str pot (1), then they killed me and took it rofl :lol:

This really isnt that bad, many people have run towards Chaos Elemental while im Pking them in hopes i dont know to mage pro from it. Also people at drags will run straight through them in hopes you will get toasted.

agreed, never had to deal with one first hand, but i've heard the stories.

 

lurers get you near the wildy with false promises of trades, or get you deeper in the wildy with false promises of teaming up, and then attack. the former, you lose what you brought to trade, the latter, you just get backstabbed.

 

this guy takes a monster to a place where it will kill the people for him, but has no control over who comes, or whether the person who comes can deal with the monster long enough to get to him and kick his butt. yes this could be labled "cowardly" but it in no way makes lurers look good by comparison, i can think of little of what you can do in the wildy that can, except for x'ing, or ignoring fight rules.

Am I stupid or do I not get whats happening? And yes, I read through the whole topic.

That is AWESOME!! I cant pk at all, so i definatly have to try this. And to those whinging, think about it. Hes basically pking, just in a more cunning way.
