June 7, 200620 yr Ok now ive seen a few ppl doing this...most were 3 itemers but sme actually had full rune plus other stuff and i was wondering like other untradeable items that dont show up to other players....if you die wearing firecape does it stay there and disappear afer the 1 or 2 minutes? if so then once you die and end up in fally you can just grab a glory edge telly pick it up and repeat if you die again so its pretty much a free str bonus... anyone with firecape confirm what happens when its dropped? :D Quit. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. Luckily for the ape atoll tele i was able to get back there and pick it up. Some low lvl grabbed my fury and dh helm though and was too greedy to give it back or to at least give the helm back and keep the fury

June 7, 200620 yr The guy who's killed Jad multiple times could do this. :wink: (Muggi, or something, can't remember name) He wrote a guide to doing it with ranged, with videos of the whole thing. Quite amazing if you ask me.

And as I said, "MOST" rune. I didn't say it protects over plate and legs... sheesh.

June 7, 200620 yr when I played rs, I used to PK few times in fire cape with dharoks too...wasnt really that great...didnt get any more ppl attack me than normally :P didnt even die fire cape :) and u lose it if u die it...then u hav to kill jad again ^^ i also killed a guy with fire cape at castle (KOed him)...im pretty sure he was kinda pissd off :lol:
June 7, 200620 yr I think just like rune essence pouches if you die with it to another player it's gone. If you drop it before you die it'll stay on the ground like a normally dropped item. I've never died to an npc with pouches so I have no idea how it would act in that case.
