13 - the "Tip.it mod" part is hard to see, but I really like the way that one is designed.

I downloaded Terragen last night. I hope to play with it after the busy weekend. Any tips on getting started using it are welcome.

Wow! Looking good. 8-) 18, 26, and 27 are my favorites I think.

I love Apophysis, but the only problem is the time it takes for it to generate the fractals, and to save. >_<

wowzorz, those are some really lush ones. My favs are 18, 26 and the top most one (35), i like the purple lushness :) and those water ones (9 & 10) look hot too

I would say the wolf ones (33 & 34) are pretty awesome, specially using the flames.

 

 

 

But then I like them all. I've found I've lost paint shop pro 8 now, so I can only use it at college, so I can't use anything but paint anymore sigh :(

I use some great freebie applications including Apophysis, Blender, GIMP, Paint.net and Terragen. You can really produce some decent work with freebies these days. For other recommendations, check out the The Gallery Rules, FAQ and Resources.
