June 17, 200620 yr i guess my curiosity was peaked today and i decided to see if you could make a 40 def pure with 10 hps well i payed a visit to rune hq just because i can see the quest rewards faster and counted up all the quests that gave defense experience. i started in the members quests and i was at 58k xp when i started counting. next i payed a visit to tip.it's xp table and found that 58k xp gets you 44 def! then i went to tip.its combat calculator and found that you can have 40 def at 13 combat. i just hvae 1 question: is this lower than the previous rune pures?

June 17, 200620 yr Author you could have friends help u in the fights by trading you sharks or something like the kids who beat shilo village at lvl 3 did and look at quests like small favour they dont give other rewards and quests like between a rock that doesnt give other combat xp

June 17, 200620 yr a lot of the quests give experience to more then just defence though here is a list of quests that give exp to defence or a noncombat stat between a rock- 5000 shadow of the storm- 10000 one small favour- 20000 monkey madness (if you could actually beat it good luck)- 35000 that yeilds 70,000 exp i think legends(has prayer requirement) not sure on recipe for desaster *edit* this link may help its from the offical runescape page http://kbase.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/ ... le_id=1773

June 17, 200620 yr Someone posted on here before they made a pure which was lvl 18 and had full rune, if u just train defence the hitpoints will only go up a little. or to get a lvl 13 with rune just use lots of genie lamps

June 17, 200620 yr Author when i counted up all the quests i didnt even use monkey madness...just go to runehq and look at the members quests rewards page and there i got 8 quests that give xp before i stopped counting..the next question is...could you get 60 def at 10 hps?

June 17, 200620 yr lvl3s coudl wear rune in beta but that was a bug:P i dont think rune was out before the defense reqs, but im not sure Armor requirements were put in shortyly after rune was introduced because I had a lvl 5 with a rune long sword for fun. There was a bug after they put the armor requirments on too. If u had the armor or weapon equipped when you logged off before the requirements were puit in, then when u logged back in you still had the armor on. My lvl 5 had full mith and a rune long sword for about a week or 2 after the requirments were added untill i sliped one day and banked everything :wall: to never be put on again lol. :lol: Sykoknight - 1900 skill total - 132+ combat Fighting High Scores from late 2001 - Ranked 1894Prayer High Scores from March 2002 - Ranked 749Ya, I've been around too long.
June 17, 200620 yr Technically, yeah, with Genie Lamps, 99 is possible. If you did some quests to get you to an ok level to start out with, you could probably get to 40 through lamps.

It just seems like some of those quest require some combat, or fighting something that gives combat.
