Humans see themselves in things that arn't what they apear to be. Like I remember they some back pics from a Mars Lander and it showed what apeared to be half a face covered in shadow. The media got excited claiming it was ET or prymids and stuff buy Nasa ran it in a higeher resoulotion and the bit in shadow was just a plain rock and when you saw the whole picture, it didn't look like a face at all.
