bestsob
Very well written. Losing a friend is difficult, and is certainly a trying time.
Rcty
R.I.P. The Old Nite You were a true RuneScape Legend, whom will never be forgotten. That article was magnificent. It made me soooo sad reading it. :( Rcty
speedofsound
twas a well written article, i'm sure everyone is affected by this great players death, but he will live on in our me memories and spirits. You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you." danjc2
perfectly done, and i know this sound weird, but i recon they should make the Old Nite account fixed into the #2 spot in the high scores to remember him, BUT not number it so he's not included, that way we still get a no2, but The Old Nite is remembered. :( condolenses to his family, i was wondering why the account slipped down the high scores and now, after a number of request i had from the crowd, goodnight
rangerblue
If this is true I send my condolenses to his family and am sorry that he is gone, he was a great player. However I have heard that it was his mother that dies so he has given up runescape for a while. If I am wrong plz correct me as I am sorry. Contaminent
I met the old night once..A very long time ago when he was number one back in RSC, he was smithing rune in falador furnace. Couldn't have met a nicer guy.

Chaotix04
I struggle for words... I have only played runescape a few years and by far The Old Nite has been one of the kindest most loved and appreciated players of all time! I never really spoke to him myself although he sounds like a very nice man and a very good friend. :( R.I.P The Old Nite :( :( :(
sediti0n
I only saw him a few times. The first time he was being harassed by people at fast free laws, and he ended up logging out. I felt sorry for him because he was trying to be friendly to everyone while they were hurling abuse :( The second time he was runecrafting via the abyss and there were many high levels trying to PK him. It's truely amazing that someone that gets treated in this way still manages to be so friendly to everyone. I certainly know I wouldn't be able to. Definitely one of the nicest people to ever play this game. RIP
TheWiz94
Personally I never saw him, but it sounds like he was a great guy. At least he was able to acomplish 99 in everything while he was still alive, and was also able to celebrate the occasion. One thing is for sure, his memory will never be forgotten as he has touched the hearts of many. look me up on the high scores----markoman94
stefan909
I think this is not jsut a sad moment for us all, but for Jagex too, just for anyone really, i normally believe in fate and destiny, but this just feels too out of place, he was an avd player, and a very nice person, i never knew him, but one of my friends used to be one of his smithing frends, i've had a chance to speak to him, but now that's just going to have to remain a memory... Brilliant article and The Old Nite will be truely missed by one, by all R.I.P The Old Nite :boohoo:
HellsMist
I had not heard of his death untill now. It's like a little part of me just died. Apart of my hopes and dreams, Ever since I started runescape shortly after it's public release I had wanted to meet him, And now it will not be possible. R.I.P. The Old Nite. :boohoo: Hell's
Infestation
I love this article, it reminds me of what a great person he was. I've only met him once, but that one meeting was enough to show me how kind and thoughtful he was. Rest in peace The Old Nite, you'll always be my hero.
Jimmyd17
I hope to meet some more of the people that you discribed in that article. Seems like he was a great player (having never met ingame, but sure he would be a gentleman) that will be sorely missed, but as things are said, "The game must go on." So, my regards go out to his family and friends and hope you deal with it well. Having someone very close to me recently pass unexpectedly I know how hard it can be, but you all will get over the loss. Jake_Corsair
Rest in peace, I hope that if I ever get to the level he was, that I am thought of half as well as he is.
