Whip vs Great Axe

I want to choose between this 2 weaps if i reach 70 att

 

 

 

Which one is better (Axe without set, will get set when def 70 prob)

 

 

 

OOh - and what should i get first 70 att or 70 str

the whip will be better. The stats are slightly worse but the weapon is so much faster that the xp rate will be faster (with whip).

 

 

 

And get your attack to 70 before str. U'll be able to use the whip which is far better than any dragon weapon.

Maybe ill get both coz the whip can only train str on controlled

Whip is very good xp wining but if you want to risk "alot" for allitle more XP go for Dharok.

 

 

 

Attack to 70 first.

 

 

 

PS.: If you thinking about go train slayer. Whip is the answer.

You need 70 Attack and 70 Strength For Great Axe.

If youll want my advise The WHIP

 

For a few reasons:

 

1-Its str points is 82 ( that's close enough to a great axe )

 

2- Its speed that is a 6 points \

Get the whip. Only go for a Great Axe if you're getting the full set. Whip is better because it's faster and one-handed. Very good stats too. Great Axe is a bit slower and two-handed and not so good without the full set. With the full set the Great Axe is better, but alone, it's worse.

 

 

 

And you need 70 atk and str to wield a Great Axe.

With the exception of Karil's Crossbow that is.

 

 

 

There should be NO argument here, on its own, NOTHING beats a whip, and I mean it. Whip can only be compared to Dharok's Full Set, but all melee barrow weapons on their own, quite frankly, are useless.

Whip is definitely the best way to go because it is the best weapon in the game. It's high strength, hits fast, and it's one handed so you can weild a shield, defender, god books, etc. For strength, just get a dragon scimitar. It hits pretty fast and overall is a good weapon.
