Hmm. Try getting a job? Not sure how old you are. If not call your friends lol? Just make sure to tell them the phone works 2 ways ;).

I dunno, unless you really need a job, don't work until you absolutely have to. You have 80+ years of your life to waste on work.

I would advise reading and excercise. Both are good for you, and you can make these activities fun.

Reading can do a lot of things for you depending on what you read. It can make you more creative, it can make you smarter if you're reading a lot of non-fiction, it can increase your vocabulary, it can prepare you for a time in your future when you have to read and absorb a lot of material in a short time - it's a great brain excersize that can be enjoyable.

he can start saving up for car or something. that usually motivated people to work.

but if you don't really need money, i would recommend some sort exercise. maybe a new sport (basketball, skateboarding, maybe just running)? you can start lifting weights? Because sitting infront of the computer all day is defintely not good for you. And once you have something going, you will feel like you have accomplished something at the end of the day. All these things are good for you, and probably will take 30min-1hr each day, so you still have plenty of time to spend on comp.

Have you ever read Pas[bleep]ch by Orson Scott Card? I liked it a lot. Everyone and their mother will tell you that Ender's Game is great too...primarily because it is great! :P

I also hear Dune is suppose to be a fantastic book (science fiction) although I've never read it myself.

Learn languages!O:)

Oh, and if you're into science fiction and fantasy, I'd highly highly HIGHLY recommend the Young Wizards series by Diane Duane. I'm reading the books again. I love them so!

The first book is called 'So You Want to Be a Wizard'.

I love languages.

J'adore les langues.

Never heard of it (I don't read much fiction these days). What's it about?

It's an alternate timeline of America. It incorporates folklore as truth. Quite enjoyable.

You'd probably enjoy some Michael Crichton. It's not exactly sci-fi/fantasy, more of not-so-future-sci-fi / suspense. But they're really good. 'Timeline' or 'Prey' are both good. I dunno where your reading level is at, but you got through LOTR fine so I think you'd be fine with Crichton.

You could try running. I know some people that run obsessively...

I dunno if you have any musical talent, but you could try picking up guitar or something. That could be frustrating though.

I like jobs actually. It gives me something to do when I'm not around the house or hanging out with friends.

I know exactly how you feel, man. I have the same problem. I'm sitting here on the computer or my game systems all day. I don't have a whole lot of friends that I hang out with. I call them every couple of days and they are busy. Every now and then I can get someone over. Lucky for me I have a pool, so I go out there and swim for an hour or two. I'm not a fan of reading. I'm very picky when it comes to books and I would probably never get to finishing one. Very rarely do I ride my bike, but I might need to do that.

Just find a sport to play, call your friends frequently and set plans, and just try and entertain yourself inside the house or outside.

Maybe you should pick up on that or find some new sports to play.

I'm actually thinking about running. Perhaps i'll find a book to read! Staying on this computer isn't healthy at all.

You can always browse the best page in the universe. I find this guy hilarious. Please note though, this website probably contains something offensive to everyone. He pretty much just makes fun of people and rants about things he doesn't like.

I read books sometimes. I'm only 14 though, so I may not have read anything you would like. I would reccomend: Artemis Fowl, Harry Potter, A Series of Unfortunate events... and that's pretty much all I read. I would also reccomend Tales From Beneath Your Mom by blink-182... pretty funny stuff.
