A monkey madness story....

Im standing thier with 1 anti poisen pot, 2 lobsters left, and prayer 0. Were am i... well im standing in a cage surounded by monkeys. I had a ring of life, but ive been wanting to get this quest done. I payed 200k for a puzzle to be solved, im not giveing up on this quest. I had to make it over to these crates with monkey dentures in them. I kept going the wrong way and looseing energy and prayer. Finally when i got over their, this little spider kept attacking me and attacking me. It would awalys leave the screen to attack this little pest. Then out of the air these apes came and nocked me out. I then found myself lying in that small small cage.

 

 

 

Then along came another prisoner. He walked up to the ape, and was hit with a nasty 12, and died right in front of my eyes. He was out of potions, no armor, or nothing, so my hope was lost. Then along came another fellow. He once again went up to talk to the ape and was, just like the other, struck down the other and died. Right in front of my eyes, their layed a pryer pot, with 1 drink left, I picked it up. Now, My one last shot to get that dentures and mold. I had one chance and i had to take it.

 

 

 

As my time was spent in that cage i noticed the gaurds changed shift. They started to change, i attempted to pick the lock. I failed, I failed again. I failed again. My heart was raceing i had to get this thing open. It manged to be open. Then all of a sudden. It was too late, here he comes right towards me, I was in the way, and Boom!!!. He hit a 12 on me, and i wind up back in that, small chamber. As i eat my last two lobsters, I had 40 hitpoints. Then they start to change again. I open the lock and jolt out the door!!! I was out!

 

 

 

Then a scropian attacked me and hit hard, then i saw that dreaded "U have been poisened". I had to get over their, I drank the pot and raced, I was thinking the best way to get over their when all of a sudden a monkey comes by me. Im thinking, im a goner, im done for. Then he says "do u need some help". I was in shock. I relize it was a person. He says to folo him. He says turn prayer on. He takes me to the spot, I made it!! i get the dentures no problem. I go down the crate, and get the mold. I then get teleported out by my ring of life. I had it!!! yes!.

 

 

 

Then the person pms me and ask if i need any more help. From then on he helped me with the rest of the quest. And every other quest i needed. When we were in the dungeon and i almost died. He quickly traded me sharks. And prayer pots. This man was a huge help with every quest i needed. He would awalys give me that extra gp when i needed to buy a new weapon or sort or armor. He has been a great person to me in my runescape playing

 

 

 

What im trying to say in this story is that. This man went so far out of his way to help me. He never asked for anything at all. Every quest i needed help with he was right their. I would be across the world and he would coem right to be just to trade me something. We would play castle wars together, and duel in the arnea. He has just been such a nice guy. Then one day he told me he was quiting. I felt so sad because of this, He gave me all his armor and mostly everything he had. Then when i finally saw that he had logged out. He never logged back in.

 

 

 

I ask the people of runescape tip. Have u ever had a friend like this in runescape. Just out of the blue he comes along and helps u with everything u need. And never asks for anything. And not once does he try to scam or trick u?

Yes, i have a friend just like that, i met him in a clan that lasted one day. He helped me from level 30 to where i am now(82) then quit recently i believe...

Yes, Due to the new quest i see many people in lumby caves, So i bring along tele runes to varrock and everytime someone asks "where is the exit" I just give them the runes. It's small things like this that make Runescape a better place for everyone.

yeah it did then she just dissappeared after she became member she helped me when i was lvl 12 and told me were to train and gave me 10k and full steel.....i never got to pay her back :(

Wow good story and yes I have a friend like that but he quit. He was there when I just started told me to woodcut and gave me full iron. I got 71 woodcutting at 3 combat. Later he gave me full steel and mithril but than I got richer than him and gave him Full rune Sara. Shortly after he quit and so did I forgetting my long password full of numbers :lol:

Runescape has become so flooded with greedy, rude, and idiotic people that it's hard to find someone nice. RS (RSC) used to be like that, if someone died for instance, the person who picked it up would give it back to you no problem, nowadays they'll take stuff and give you back maybe a few items.

 

 

 

It's cool that you found someone to help you :) I didn't need help when I did it lol, I overprepared for MM when I did it lol

At least I like to think I am. Some random person the other day asked me where

 

the king of Varrock was, because he was doing a clue scroll. I had him follow

 

me to the king of Varrock, then I helped him with another 5 clues until he got to the end

 

of the trail. Even when he offered me part of the reward (which was considerable,

 

since he got a pair of ranger's boots), I told him to keep his money, because I

 

was just glad I could help somebody.

My friend quit some months ago. He was very helpful and got me past Melzars, and he gave me tips to beat Elzar.

Yeah I put it into paragraphs so it would be easier to read. And once again when he gave me his stuff and said goodbye. He logged out and it was just kind of a weird feeling knowing i would never play with him again

i know how u feel i had people who were random but in the end helped so much in my times of need underground pass, gnome stronghold in the jungle,monkey madness and so on

 

he and she helped me alot providing everything from armor to yo yo's

Oh why do you blow rs1 up as if it was like heaven. It was not! There were still greedy, hacking 'noobs' back then. Autorune and other most successful bot companys were created in RS1. Rs2 just has more players and so more of these people.

 

 

 

RS1 had its fair share of problems brought to light recently with the amount of autoers. Stop naming it as a mirage of greatness, its sickening.

I had a friend like that. I had him since he was very low level. And he quit. I was really sad.

i had a friend that was the same in ways but we helped each other out in hand his name was themask61 rank top 7 in slayer and rank top 800 overall

 

 

 

now this guy helped me out on the first day of members by giving me info on how to make money fast he gave me 200k to merchant raw materials

 

 

 

from that i made 2 mil and was able to buy some cool stuff for my level.

 

 

 

i bought a cannon to train range and then later sold to get my money back in total

 

 

 

themask61 has also helped me with regicide and legends quest.

 

 

 

i also helped him with support on getting 50 slayer then 70 slayer then i also helped support him with 85 slayer then he said im going for the top slot in the slayer skill, I knew hed get it cause when he gets somthing set on his mind he will get it done.

 

 

 

he taught me hop to play the game accuretly and fair. He is still going strong and i cant wait till hes the top person to play the game

i had a really good mate, we were both always there for each other, but then he got hacked and lost 40m, i tried to help him out, but i couldnt afford to replace everything, he decided to quit but....

 

 

 

we got msn :D and now play other games together :lol:

I remember being a low lvl and doing the knights sword quest. if anyone has ever trained in the ice caves you will often see low lvls on hectic suicide runs in an attempt to mine blurite and avoid ice warriors.

 

when i was doing the quest i had heard about "ice warriors" and was very aprehensive about doing the quest lol.

 

when i got to the ice caves i met a lvl 99 (cant remember his name but i wish i could) and asked him for help not expecting any but to my suprise he ran it with me and protected me against the ice warriors. i was overjoyed at getting all the blurite i needed (for the quest and for my own blurite sword lol) and we both ran out the cave. i was very appreciative and offered him lobs as a way of saying thanks but he declined saying it was nothing and i shouldn't worry about paying him back.

 

when i went back to the ice caves at lvl 70 to train i always remembered how that lvl 99 helped me and would help other low lvls run the blurite.

once... well actually... in rs classic i was perpetually lost lol. no clue what the value of any items were and whatnot. so i end up in al kharid after scrounging the 10gp to go thru the gate. so i go in, and see big scary high lvl warrior al kharid guys, and there's sum guy who's egging me on to fight one. i keep saying no, so he keeps callin me a noob... so i kinda go into a speech asking why he was calling me a noob for not attacking sum thing that could kill me so easily :mrgreen: as i kinda flame on to him, he just takes it all in stride and won't give. so i simply leave the general are. now i notice a pretty high lvl person in full rune walking up towards me, so im thinking "awe, now sum1's gonna follow me calling me a noob..." but instead, she comes to me, ses "poor dear" (im going 'huh??' i never knew ppl so nice existed on this game i just started a few days ago) and gives me 10k and a few str pots. i thank her a lot, and, being the greedy noob i was, walked of and splurged on random stuff...

 

 

 

point being, there are nice people out there =D> and i wanna take some time to thank lilacunicorn for that thoughtful charity. if anyone knows her, tell her i say thank you again O:)

i knew people like that in monkey madness when i was donig the quest, but i mostly did the whole thing by myself. i once this guy that gave me stuff once and a while but he doesnt play anymore. idont know anymore ppl like that though.

 

 

 

and i solved the puzzle by myself woot im still happy about that.
