Anyone else, think there should be some way of people being able to go into someone's house when they are away, such as:

 

 

 

Portal Lock - Deadlock - Nobody Allowed In.

 

Portal Lock - Friendlock - Only People On FriendList Allowed In.

 

Portal Lock - Nolock - Anyone Can Enter House.

 

 

 

When leaving, your own house, you would be asked to lock the portal (via a window), and you could choose which option you wish to use at this time.

 

 

 

It just annoys me that my friend always wants to go in my house, and I dont mind him doing so, but I have to be there to let him in, and I wish there was a way around it.

 

 

 

Maybe even a house key, that was only tradable once, frm the owner, to guest. - and once used, it turned to dust...or something.

good idea, i have always wanted to have my house open to friends, and only friends, so you could have a trusted guest list for you house

Yeah it really annoys me that we cant have people over.. I mean my house isn't the best.. but its not that bad either I guess, and people that I know like to go there, just to hang out, and fight in cb arena etc.

Totally awesome idea man! We need loads of support for this, suggestions forums would be good to start AND you could send it to jagex, but i doubt they would do something straight away...

I really only agree on the Key idea. Like you can craft one out of gold, then it's only tradeable once, but it shouldn't turn to dust after it's used. You'd have to make more and more when people want to go to your place.

 

 

 

On the Portal lock, I don't think there should be a option for everyone to go in. I myself don't feel comfortable when people just randomly come in when I'm there, and I think it'd be worse when they walk in when I'm not there. But letting friends in is fine with me if I'm not there. Unless they threw a huge party or something. :shock: Suprise parties!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how about we take it even futher? you can make keys with (15) (10) (5) (1) or (u) charges. they will let you get into the house that many time (only tradeable once) and then it becomes a (0) key. The (u) key is unlimted charges.

That'd be nice. I've had people bug to see my house while I'm at like, Black demons or something. It'd be nice to just tell them to go ahead and go see it while I'm busy doing Slayer or something.

good idea. Whats wrong with people being in your house when you arent there though? ..not as if they can do any damage..

lets save jagex some coding, make a spell that puts a nontradable key into the targets inventory, with the key only being able to acess your house buy using the key on the portal, with a key-collecter that can be built in the workshop, allowing you to vanquish (destroy) all the keys that you have given out.

Agreed. It will be useful for clans. In my old clan, the owner of our POH was sometimes away, and we had to use a backup house.

Yeh i like the key idea as others have said, because i really don't fancy a window saying whether you lock/dealock etc your house. Maybe if it was an option in your house options and the key would be good.
