Uhh, total idiot is really the only thing that comes to mind. I seriously hate when people do this. One time while I was smithing in Port Phasmatys. So while I was reading the forums I come back and realise I'm on about half hp with an evil chicken attacking me. I go to run out of the furnace room but this lvl 80 or so keeps shutting door, probably 'cos I was wearing a santa hat the time. It was only when I was at about 20hp I had ring of duel on so I whipped it off and managed to tele out :\ However I did come back and gave him a piece of my mind.

 

 

 

Though he may have put himself in the initial danger, you pulled off the action that gave you his valuables. To me, that's just like scamming.

The intention is bad but not wrong.

 

 

 

Also , to those ppl saying " return his items now and apologise " , how many of you will return a blue phat if a guy die to some random event / dragons?

 

 

 

Of course , some of u may do it , or at least claim you will , but we will never know.

 

 

 

U can say "oh blue phat is like 1000x more expensive than those items " , but the act is the same. You get some guy items. You dont want to return.

 

 

 

So dont flame him unless your willing to return some guy's blue phat if u get it.

thats just like item scamming, like on time in al kharid furnace someone was being killed by an evil chicken and people kept on shutting the door, they were wearing nothing and would have had a few bars on them, pointless.....

Yes, it is his own fault for not having an anti-drag sheild, but you should have atleast let him escape. Its heartless, and desperate.

 

But, its up to you on wheather you should return his items. Like others have said, if you got a blue phat from a guy dying, you would not return it, but, although those items are cheaper (by far) its the same priciple.

I am still looking for the guy that died due to his own stupidity and insulted me while demanding his stuff back, so I can give him something for it. If your out their buddy...I have some burnt chicken for you...lol...just kidding..I really will give him some free stuff.

Well I did actually exaggerate the closing of the gate part...he was already dead before he made it to the gate....so I actually don't hold any guilt for his death. I just wanted to see how people reacted to this seeing as I have to deal with people closing the gate on me EVERY time I train there. Seems most people here act like they would NEVER do this, but in actuality, it seems almost everyone takes the opportunity when they see it while they are playing.
