The one in the south room is somewhat easy to get. The eastern most Specter uasually goes into the south east corner of the room behind the table. YOU CAN SHOOT OVER THE TABLE!

 

 

 

 

 

Each of these spots requires that the specters are not auto attacking you. if they are, they'll interupt your shooting of the safe spotted specter.

 

 

 

as of now i have not found any way to lure them into the safe spots

Sorry to say it, but those don't work. I've tried that many times, and they just shoot you with their little green balls anyways.

I have trapped them, however when I fire upon them, they for some reason move one square over, and then move themselfs into range. I"ll try it again next time I get an assignment, however I am dubious.

in the south room one, i am positive they cant move. because you are in a straight line congruent to them, just out of thair range and they are stuck

well if these work this would be very nice as they drop lots of herbs and ever since an update a while ago there has not been another safe spot :

Its important to stress that you have to be out of range of their attack, but within range of your bow. Its quite tricky, but can be done.

 

 

 

Its the same trick as using the door before they made it close automatically. If you stood too close, you got globbed. Always fun when you switch to robin hood hat. Eek!

This spot is pointless too since you can melee them 2x faster than range

the spots work all depending if the specter goes to the safe spot!

 

 

 

the spot near armour and rocks in the north east room works by you being out of the npc's WANDERING range. sence it will try to back up, it cant because there is a wall and rocks in the way.

 

 

 

same thing for the one near the door and chain. it will back up agenst the closet, then move north and keep backing up. it will then go back hegind the closet. you will be in its range now. just move back and it will try to move forward. it cant. you can shoot it tod eath then.

 

 

 

now with the one behind the tabel, it goes there randomally. when you shoot it it will try to attack you. it cant. but you can.

Yea that would be so much better then the current picture... to be bluntly honest I don't see what you are trying to point out with the lines and all.

 

 

 

But as was already mentioned, mage pray + monk robes and zammy book and you own them. I usually get more rannars in drops then I spend on prayer pots.

Yes I agree completely. They will cover your pots just fine with their ranarr droprate.

I suck, so I use guthan on bloodvelds to heal. :roll:

It's always a safespot, but not so reliable.

 

 

 

I'l just stick with karils top and bottom equipped with whip/scimmy, defender and salve ammy. Takes quite many pineapple pizzas or whatever food you have, but it's not that long run to canifis with the shortcut. One task takes around 2-3 bankings, but I'm happy to bank full inv of high lvl herbs and seeds.
