July 17, 200619 yr useless right? after being to a few parties ive realised that many people dont have parlors, we have precious little amount of rooms available, and what does parlour offer? chairs. i mean yay! great, im not badmouthing chairs, but we can sit in the dining room and throne room and they have a use! do you believe parlors are useless? do you have one? im just not sure if i should keep mine. siggity siggity shwa

July 17, 200619 yr A rich player I know used his parlour in an inventive way - he left out the chairs on purpose. With the fancy rug and all, it just looks like a posh entry hall (it's at his front door, of course). Nice effect. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.

July 17, 200619 yr There are 21 rooms availabe to build. The limit is 20 rooms. Choices have to be made. I do not have a parlor, because its my least favorite room. But I have 2 gardens, one formal, and one regular. When it comes to the non-useful rooms, you just gotta make a choice when you get to the point where you can build everything. The 20 room limit is a bummer. If it wasn't for the limit, I'd have one. A circus in Runescape?? Oh my. REMEMBER RUNESCAPE KARMA! July 17, 200619 yr I have one but then again I'm planing on just tearing down the entire house and build from scratch. Maybe I'll just leave the kitchen until I get 75 con. They should at least add 10more rooms to the limit. I mean Alot of poeple have like 3 combat rooms *points at Leesters* and Most of the other rooms including 2 portal rooms. July 18, 200619 yr Well my suggestion was that with the leveling up allowing the house footprint to increase from 4x4 to 5x5 and so on to 8x8 that the number of rooms be increased to a max of around 125 at 8x8 with an expensive quest to double that to 250. imagine a house with a central garden area of 4 rooms worth surrounded by 60 rooms plus 2 upper floors of 60 rooms each and a 64 room dungeon for 248 rooms. Quite a mansion, you could easily burn a billion gp on something like that. :ohnoes: -- "Your men aren't good enough to shoot around him." "You're right... Shoot through him."
